Because ballistic blades are OP.

Why not. Grenade powers have higher DPS, it's much better because its a grenade power.

Assuming a full damage(before consumables) spec Ballistic Blades does 1710 damage up front and 427.5 damage over 15 seconds.
Nightshade Blades does 2700 damage up front and 980 over 8 seconds. The damage is considerably higher.
Being a grenade, it's also not on the GCD which means you can use Poison Strike/Biotic Focus with it.

Yeah this pretty much. At least compared to the nightblades.
Its just a little silly considering the character gets a little weird off host that they decided this was good balance.
Then again... We do have TGI and AIU so balance is already out the airlock.

They should patch the nightshade blades as you said. Also they should remove the concussive/armor arrows grenade dependent. The cain mines stay the same. Probably we won´t see any patches on the new kits... They already said that they are reducing the support for ME3 Multiplayer.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Nightshade Blades deal as much damage as Ballistic Blades do over their entire duration+explosive damage up front, before you factor in the poison degen and explosive evo for Nightshade. Then there's also the bit where it paralyses unprotected enemies.

So you can use them immediately after a poison strike

You can fire all your NB's in a row for massive kill sprees.

Where do you get that idea from? I've only replied to one post and I've been waiting to see what other people say.
Do you want me to reply to every single person individually?
Gtfo.

At least Nightblades aren't utilized by meleeing. Seems like this Reckoning DLC is very melee focused.

Because the acidic venom can't be flash-forged in an omni-tool fabricator, and she needs to keep some handy for her Wolverine claws?

Pretty much this. Do you really want another ability to share cooldowns with focus or PS?
If you're looking for a lore reason, BB seems to be the same "material" omni blades and the like are made from while NSB are limited because the poison used by the cabal is limited.
