Now then Scarlet, congrats on the AIU. Hopefully it works out well for you. It should be a good intro into gold for you in terms of getting used to its spawns, damage control and team work. Dont let nay sayers tell you how to play your account. If it works for you then play it that way (so long as it doesnt go against terms of service).

Leave it as it is.
It is actually well- balanced.
A Gethfiltrator with a black widow can easily outscore a sexybot (I actually did that- 3 sexybots and I as the lone gethfiltrator on Gold... I outscored them by at least 40% by killing off one enemy after another from the range while they ran around like idiots

Juggernaut- Perfectly balanced, lack of cover and sprinting perfectly makes up for its insane defenses

Krogan warlord- also fine, just don't try to hammer a banshee. Really. If someone else hasn't already been keeping it busy, the banshee WILL sync you

Collector- slight buff required.

I agree, for example I have a friend that ONLY plays the TGI from bronze to platinum, and he uses only particle or harrier on him. He litteraly can't play any other character, when I was trying to persuade him to play another char, in the first rounds he was quitting and joining again with the TGI. His excuse was: "I can't without stims packs". This is sickening and he will never become a good player. The sad news are the same thing will happen with the AIU, people that got used to infinite medi-gel won't be able to play easily other kits. You need variety to become good, both in weapons and characters and that's where the banners help if you chase the best of the best banner.

I've also started playing gold more effiently after this dlc.
But what's helped me is the Cabal and Collector. I almost never die as the Cabal and with the collector I can take out whole groups easily.

I always feel guilty playing my TGI when pugging because I know the popular opinion "oh, look at this n00b, crutching their way through the game"...

...but I have had glorious dreams that just involve meleeing mooks with a TGI all night long, no kidding. Also, it really is a great kit for working your way into higher levels (I've played only TGI on plat so far, but at least I'm not a Shamer!) I don't have the AIU yet, but I'm sure she's similar.

If you hate a "broken character", then don't use it- nobody is saying you can't try a geth gold solo match on FB white with a Novaguard (I actually did that today, was fun as hell)

Seriously, good for you. I like the idea that a kit exists to better train up players. Doesn't hurt that it's a pretty Fembot. The best advice I can give is be selfless. Even if the other players are not. When the team does well, you do well. All too often, people forget this is a co-operative experience.

Also, zomg Chrono Cross is like one of my favorite games of all time.

Ah yes, the "don`t use it" argument, which ignores how it kills variety. And the Novaguard is a very powerful kit, but also VERY lag-sensitive.

Wrong. You don't get used to gold(+) tatctics by avoiding to learn them. The AIU makes those tactics obselete, and you wrote it yourself: "The AIU helps me move around the area without too much worry of being snuck up on".

That's what the higher difficulties are all about. You won't learn the basics by avoiding them. Look for friends instead who help you to step up with the characters you actually like.

One of the fastest chararacters.
Good health/shields
Super good dodge.
Very nice melees.
TC with shotgun dmg.
Snap freeze (one the best debuffs and setting explosions)
Repair matrix for: Buff, shield regen even in TC and infinite medi-gel

Where exactly is the balance? The ONLY downside that I can see is getting instant medi-gel with a phantom/banshee etc above you.

This happened to my friend last night.  Immediate sync-kill.  Was equally hilarious and sobering as we realized some of the terrible possibiltiies that emerged when you couldn't control your revive...

Also to the others pissing on her for using this character come on now remember who you used for your first time in gold. I used a Krogan myself, most make the jump using a strong character.

haha, true, but there will always be people who only once tried Platinum, got their asses kicked, see a new character kick ass on silver and be overtheaverage on Gold and already started whining about the character being OP.

Even a fully defensive set Geth Juggernaut WILL die on Platinum if on its own
In fact, the Juggernaut is a class that is a pretty poor choice for solo on Platinum because it may have good defenses, but only average offense--> doesn't kill off enemies fast enough --> dead

And hey, I got the sexybot with my gift pack and I still keep using the Gethfiltrator/Ghostfiltrator because I simply like playing with them more and they are much better at ranged combat

I used a human engineer and felt like such a burden to my team, lol. I had a Carnifex X and a little drone that went into the scary mobs for me.

HE is amazing, fire explosions/tech bursts or troll drone abuse. Try a fast weapon like the harrier.
