Wrong. You don't get used to gold(+) tatctics by avoiding to learn them. The AIU makes those tactics obselete, and you wrote it yourself: "The AIU helps me move around the area without too much worry of being snuck up on".

That's what the higher difficulties are all about. You won't learn the basics by avoiding them. Look for friends instead who help you to step up with the characters you actually like.

That's only one element, I was talking about getting used to team synergy and enemy difficulty. What good is it to learn a difficulty if you bleed out during the early waves? O.o

Congrats to you OP, the step up to Gold can be quite intense and glad that you're enjoying the AIU, love her myself, great fun. Also to the others pissing on her for using this character come on now remember who you used for your first time in gold. I used a Krogan myself, most make the jump using a strong character.

I think only having the two medigels helps you more than anything.  You don't learn unless you make mistakes.  That's how I learned to drive.   You play enough with that 2 gels and you learn to stay alive.

Well, it's hard playing my favorite characer (The N7 Fury) without making a few mistakes. :/

I failed alooot of Silver matches to know that two Medigel isn't enough.

        Look I am not great on Gold banged out 30 matches to get the 25 extractions with krogan sentinel and soldier . You play in a good group or team medigels  don't matter as much as you think . I also think us seasoned veterns forget the two medigel limit and all the advice hold them until later waves . Most of the pugs I played in worked well together reviving when needed .  I got yelled at one match for using medigel to soon .
 
        So with that I will say use your fury in gold if your close someone will save you . FBWGG  turian setinel with  vindicator  first gold match  for me and was up to three medigels before I attempted .  I understand your delema it is a matter of just jumping in with what you like or trying to play it safe . Go with what you like once you hit stride it is more rewarding .

Maybe I will try it, I tried a Gold when I was playing the N7 Fury with only Annihilation Field and Throw (but there was more Medigel at the time)

Now I play the N7 Fury with all Three of her Powers Maxed, and maybe my 5 Ops packs will compensate for having only two Medigel??
