Good players will be able to take a class they enjoy and do well with it (and even some classes they don't enjoy), bad players will do mediocre at best even with classes that many claim are "OP".

Also it's more than obvious that this is a less than stealthy AIU thread.

She is horribly broken, but so is the TGI. They both need a nerf as far as I'm concerned.

I still use her occasionally, but I run a melee build with her. So much more fun than the usual crap.

Not meant to be stealthy at all. Most who posted know who Im talking about since I even named the kits. But whats the reasoning behind the nerfs? Because they make the game easy? The AI is already easy for decent people. Because they bore you? Well if thats the case then the classes I find boring should be nerfed also. Because its easy for scrubs? They still bleed out. People on here use the term broken way too much and dont know what it actually means. Now will admit that the repair matrix needs to be adjusted a little. But thats it.

What does broken mean?

Someone posted a thread here the other day where they did a platinum solo to extraction with the AIU dying a total 48 times during the match.

THAT is what broken is.

If you're actually good, then it shouldn't matter when the kit gets nerfed.

Might as well add the Kroguard to the list, I am willing to bet the vast majority/very high percentage of Lone Wolf's used the Kroguard/Geth, it certainly shows when I see someone wearing this banner in a random lobby.

I'll admit that one of my two Gold Solos was done this way - but you played with me the other day and know I'm capable (I was bored, so what?). So, if that's the only way someone can attain the Lone Wolf banner, yeah, undeserved, but I'm not big on judging people by their banners, N7 level or challenge points. I let their gameplay speak for them more than anything. If someone wants to don a banner for something they didn't work very hard for but other players slaved over, that's fine. If they speak up about it, gloating, I'll make a point that their gameplay is speaking louder.

You know with all OP kits and crutch classes. Its funny how people still want to nerf enemies. lol?

Kit isn't really that relevant for a good player.

Has nothing to do with what I said. Read the OP again >.>

I mean, there's an element of affinity based solely on aesthetics and identification, sure. But I doubt everyone who currently mains the Geth Infiltrator would keep doing so if his kit were exchanged overnight with that of the Quarian Female Engineer.

I love Drell Adept for being a sexy Drell, but I also recognize that he's extremely good at wrecking face, and that he's one of the best kits in the game. I don't buy that, in a game in which the sole objective is surviving 11 waves of enemy hordes by killing them all, the strength of the kit itself plays no role in people's preferences.

I don't care what people use, unless they use some OP classes and call for nerfs on OP classes they don't like.

The salarian engineer was downgraded with the decoy nerf and is weak in comparison to its companions.

But i have found him very fun and i actually kick ass on gold with him

Ignore decoy entirely. Using the Scorpion with incendiary ammo and pistol power amp really makes this kit shine.

It is if you want to play as your favorite race etc. For instance, I dont like Vorcha. So I dont use vorcha. I like turians so...thats the point Im trying to make. This is not an excuse for the scrubs who NEED stim packs and repair matrix or any of that. Its about playing your ideal character because you find that character likeable. If they put Ashley and Garrus' models in the MP then they will be my new mains regardless of how good or bad they are.

I like tanky kits. They fit my standard play style best. So Krogans, Batarians, Vorcha and the Geth soldiers are my go to kits. I also enjoy powers classes quite a bit the Turian sentinel, N7 Paladin and Geth engineer being among my favorites.

I play characters because I like them not because they're "The best." I don't like the feel of Infiltrators but I'll take any Vanguard out for a spin.

Recently, I like role-playing my characters for the most part. Geth weapons on my geth. Hornets on my Phoenix kits. Stuff like that when I think of it and the cool down doesn't suffer on powers classes.

GTI the say is OP, I hate it. I love the Geth Juggernaut and Kroguard. Kroguard was my first rare class and I don't care if people says he's a crutch character he's on my front lines until the day ME3 for PC is no longer supported.

I have about 1000 hrs invested in this game, atleast 900 are from pugging higher difficulties. The other day I played with some of the top guys in my country in a private lobby. Well, let me tell you about the difference of pugging higher difficulties, or playing those same difficulties in a private lobby with good players. It made gold and platinum feel like bronze. OP characters or not - the result would've been the same, we roflstomped Cerberus, The Reapers, The Collectors, then The Geth. In a pug match im sure the results would have been quite different. If your a good player and are using a strong class - please go right ahead it helps me and the 3 others get those creds 10min faster, then we can get to that next match even quicker, to help unlock those hundreds of black card guns we all want. Weather your camping a certain box on Rio, or standing there with a nuke in your hand on Glacier - we all want the same thing, fun and black gun cards.

Shout outs to: N7 Scarecrow, DoubleHell and Xis3.

As long as you take part in the game and we get extracted at the end I don't really care what you do, who you are, or what guns you use.

i just don't get it.

we are playing coop mp mode for me3, we are slaughtering countless scripted mobs, we are suffering from huge amount of bugs, exploits and glitches that this mode still have, but still it is fun. Especially in premade team with a voice chat.

Let say today i was playing whole day with AIU, i was running with him detonationg his snap freeze with my overload, that was very quick platinum runs. Needless to say that his score was above 190k+ when i was around 100k+

In this mode we do not compete against each other. So tell me how a kit can be op in a game where all we do i slaughtering mobs? Please don't tell that somebody have a butthurt because of second place in the score chart.

People are playing with kits they like, and kits which gives them fun.

I am playing with vanilla humans, except for adept... he is still broken.

I have to admit usually when I come across well known players in pugs (sometimes friends) they tend to use GIs, or TGIs with Harriers, or Valkyries with incindiary ammo, etc. Something about gimping themselves if they don't cheese it up or something, idk.

Doesn't matter since I don't care about how other people play, but I do notice.

I couldn't care less if the class looked like a krogan's backside and shot twinkies. If they helped us win that's all that matters.

You really think so? I would have said more the opposite.

I mean, I can shower my love on the Human Sentinel all day, that doesn't change the fact he can't nuke spawns efficiently, and he doesn't have a good CC power. Throw does alright, but it's no Proximity Mine.

I mean I can make him work, but I definitely feel the difference when I move up to a GI/Destroyer/Drell/Anything-with-Chain-Overload or whatever.

Whereas for not so good players, they're just not going to do that well, no matter what kit they take.

Edit: btw, my game crashed on me on wave 11 in that game the other day. Sorry about that :/ I had fun playing with you though.

If multiplayer was just starting out it would be a bigger deal that certain kits are brokenly powerful...but at the tail end of the life of the game it will probably never get fixed so I just shrug and move on. Sure, I try and avoid wasting time with anyone abusing them (since it just makes the game boring), but I don't expect it to get fixed.
