I found them to be useful on the human sentinel and the asiari sentenel as well.

there was a Krogan Warlord painted Blood-packish in the team. Warp -> Biotic Hammer combos were glorious. Reapers/Glacier/Gold. I kinda carried the team (soloed big parts of wave 8 and 9, because the rest of the team couldn't handle the grabs), but the Krogan started to answer to friendly headbutts, so I was cool with it.
We both got grabbed on the extraction though
The Cabal and a sneaky Salarian escaped.

Batarian Gauntlets are the only reason I use 6 points in Fitness on my Asari Vanguard.
