Hi all,
I've been unable to connect to the dragonage server, I purchased the game a week or so ago but been getting the error message "cant connect to dragonage servers: try again later" ever since then. I always try troubleshooting these kind of problems before posting a question like this but I can't find a step by step troubleshooting guide for this problem anywhere.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or let me know whats up? I have an Xbox Live account and that works fine but the servers can't be down all this time surely?
Any assistance would be appreciated

Oh I should have mentioned, I've followed the steps on the dragonage website.. Xbox lives connects fine, UDP ports 88 &3074 and TCP 3074 are all open. Can do everything else on Xbox live fine, just not connect to dragonage servers.

Ever since i DLed the the new content i couldnt connect so i deleted the content and now i cant even play the game it says i need the new content to even play however the content is off the marketplace since all the bugs, so i am SoL. If anyone has any ideas please post

I can't conect either, tried to go on live and there is no Ostegar dlc. I got the points, I connect but when I go to dl it says unable to connect try again later.

I think the update they rolled out has broken the game. I'm really getting fed up.

I have had no problems connecting to the server, you may try t o make sure your EA user id matches with the gamer tag ID

i just cant get on the DA server every time i try i get the same message ""dragon age servers are not available at this time please try again"" pissing me off

I got back in last night. I'm beginning to think the server problem is actually a real server problem and it may have something to do with your physical location. Of course that theory will be out the window if I try to play tonight and I get the error again.

Nevermind, it's right back to being screwed up. At this rate I'm going to end up skipping Mass Effect 2. If Bioware has fallen so far so fast that they can't ever support a game more than 5 years in the making I'm not sure I want to hand them anymore money.

Having the same problem with ps3. Everytime i put in dragon age, when i get to the main screen it tells me that it cant log in to the server because of an error. Wont let me download the blood dragon armor now. I had the redeem code from buying the game and entered it on the computer but it wont access servers on the game still. Checked on other servers and nobody seems to have an answer to this problem...

I had this too, and discovered that the initial account creation through the xBox did not create the account on EA's servers. I went to EA's website and created an account, during which I select the option to use my xBox gamer tag and provided the same email/username that I use for xBox live. Once that account was created, I deleted my old Bioware social account and created a new one using the same email/username as the xBox live account and my EA account.
Now everything is working and I don't get that error anymore.

Why in the world is this issue not getting more attention from Bioware? I came back from traveling for a few weeks, and now I can't connect to the Dragon Age servers, like many other people. Seems to work fine for my PC version at least, but I was running my first main playthrough on the XBox...
I'm really amazed and dissapointed that there isn't a sticky or other big thread to really address this issue. I know there are a few threads floating around with workarounds, but Bioware needs to directly address this in a big way...unless they already have and I missed it...
I'm holding off playing until I can get my Xbox verion working again, but I really don't want or feel I should have to waste my time coming up with a work around...

It's hit or miss for me. Sometimes I can log in no problem, but then sometimes I can't play at all. It's just another ignored issue right now.

I never had any problems until I got back from my travels. It worked fine for me from release to late December, then when I got back in January, no luck. So far it happens everytime I try it, and I don't have the patience to sit there with my fingers crossed.
I wouldn't be as annoyed as I am if Bioware was being more vocal about this issue. At least a sticky to say 'here is the problem, here are some solutions, we are working on it...'

It started for me as soon as I got the patch. I've since cleared my cache which should have deleted the patch, but the problem persists for me.

I'm almost glad to hear that other people are having similar problems to me. I applied the title update and ever since then it's all gone a bit wrong - For me though I just get an error message pop up on the screen that says that the operation timed out while trying to connect. It still lets me play the game at least, is it something to do with some people downloading the RTO content?

Wow dank ghost i tried to do what you suggested (i already have an ea account under the same email as this and my psn) and when i tried to add a persona it says somebody else has already added my screen name

did anyone ever find a fix for this? mines still doing it. it has never worked i can still play but i want my shale!
