I went to ruins of Arvahn once already, cleared out a few things, met ogre mage Ghellu, and agreed to kill orc chieftain. As I was full on carrying capacity I then left to crossroads, did some keep stuff, sold junk, recruited merchants etc.
On attempting to return to Arvahn to continue finding statues, I get the message "You have encountered something on the way to your destination" but nothing loads, and my character is just stuck there; attempting to move or anything says the character is unable to move due to a status effect, but I'm assuming that's just a byproduct of not loading the encounter properly.
From what I've read, it appears maybe I'm supposed to be encountering some pixies now; anyone know how to fix this, or perhaps to force the game to load or skip that encounter? This is the farthest I've ever made it in this game, I'll be sad to have to start over!

Actually, I forgot the age-old solution of rebooting the computer as a first step to anything; when I did that all worked fine again. That or swapping out Qara for Khelgar which I also did, maybe the game just doesn't want Qara to see pixies! Anyway, something worked as it loaded fine when I got home from work, thanks for looking that up for me though.
