People don't like that video or that poll here. It tells the truth. I mean "vocal minortiy".

the phrase numbers don't lie is a bit of a misnomer

The video is not very popular, alot of attacks go at the creator unfortunately.
I personally not sure the video is accurate, his method and conclusions are hard to ignore with our other evidential data

Compiling a bunch of skewed polls is hardly truthful.

The "truth" is most people, whether they like the ending or not, have moved on.

That post has 6 "I didn't like the ending" options, 1 "it was okay", and 1 "it was fine".

An unbias poll, this is not.

Oh, and you think that Bioware's "numbers" are accurate?

No matter what side u are on in an argument, if the results don't go your way you scream "skewed". I would have too if it went the other way.

And by "moved on", if you actually mean "gave up" on Bioware changing the endings and settled with whatever story dlc they could get their hands on? Then yes they have "moved on".

I agree with part of this-at least the last part.  I think most of this happened after Leviathan.  There was the issue of IGN saying Leviathan changed the ending and then having to say it didn't and then BW saying it changed the context of the ending, so some bought Leviathan out of hope.  It didn't do anything much for the context of the ending (not in my opinion) and then came Omega which did zero for the ending and was basically stated by a lot of major for pay review sites, said it was pointless, meh, and about running and gunning.  I think there were also a lot of people that were very unhappy with the ending that moved on after the EC was released-they saw that BW had really not changed most of the major problems they had with the ending and were done.  That's when the great pile up of used ME3 games started to happen at Game Stops and Best Buys.

A good survey does try to be unbiased. The poll above is extremely biased.

Most of the audience for this game probably have moved on. Look at how many games come out each year. I'm willing to bet that only a very small percentage of players who finished ME3 are still bothered by it.

It's funny that you say this. The poll was created by a pro-ender (i believe he stated himself as one?). And its more like 3 pro to 4 anti (not counting that last one), but the amount of options don't change anything.

If there were 6 variations of "good ending" and 2 of "bad ending" the results would be the same.

The video also claimed that 59.8% of fans still believe that indoctrination theory is true, I guess 59.8% of fans are deluded fruitcakes.

I never mentioned Bioware's numbers.

You can rephrase whatever I said however you want. I don't see where the rebuttal is in this. Yes, there are gonna be a lot of people who are so upset with Bioware that they think anything the company produces in the future, even if it was ending content, is subpar. Therefore, they are no longer a target audience.  Thank you for spelling out what I basically said.

I don't give a crap who the person who created the survey was, because it shouldn't matter.

If the poll's stated goal is to gauge how people feel about ME3's ending, it should be unbiased. The data can be spun afterwards (it often is) but the survey itself should not be obviously biased, because nobody will take it seriously. Oh, and no, if there were 6 options for good ending and 2 options for bad ending, the results would not be the same.

There's a reason that official surveys usually use a scale of 1 to 5 (Hated it, Disliked it, Okay, Liked it, Loved it). You will never see a good survey have a scale of 1 to 5 with it being - Really hated it, Hated it, Kinda hated it, Okay, It was fine.

I studied Sociology back in school, I know what I'm talking about. :P

This video is crap and so are CleverNoobs evidence. Over 1 Million copies of mass effect 3 has been sold. Saying a mere 78k is the 'vast majority' is complete and utter bull****. Then the votes from the other polls have the same numbers, probably 95% of those votes are voted over and over by the same people whining about the endings. If you think a mere 75k is the 'vast majority' then you need help with statistics. This guy has no life, he just sits on his ass all day on BSN comparing and creating polls. Don't believe this guy, he's an idiot who needs help in statistics more than anything

I'd be very surprised if almost 60% of the people who bought ME3 could even outline the very basics of the indoctrination theory.

Claiming that 60% of the fanbase are indoctrination theorists is completely laughable. The vast majority of people who've played Mass Effect 3 have likely not even heard of IT. Indoctrination Theory is limited to people who visited fan forums, and even pre-EC I don't think it ever was a majority of that small subsection of the fanbase.

thats how stats works
