If so, when?

For me it was Mordin's loyalty mission, when we encounter the corpse of a Krogan Female.
"no restaints. volunteer."  "rest softly young mother. find a better place"

and then he goes into the futility of war and violence....  wonderfull scene.

...and finally getting back together with Liara after the Shadow broker mission.
"little blue children"<3

These two images are what nearly made me cry.

Garrus is my favorite character in the whole ME series and I seriously thought I had failed his mission when I saw him lying in that pool of blood. And seeing his face nearly made me cry, partially with tears of happiness that he was alive and partly because he looks terrible. Poor guy.

I get emotional during shepards speeches in the suicide mission. One playhrough I didn't do like any loyalty missions but one, so at the last speech were shepard stands on that platform, he's just giving his speech to Jacob lol, it felt really weird, but funny.

I only got emotional in that way during ME3.

In ME1 and ME2...the emotional times were more of a "**** yeah!" type of emotion.

Start new playthrough -> "Romance" Kelly -> Start Reaper IFF mission with Samara, Thane and LotSb missions still untouched -> Collectors knock on your door after Legions loyalty mission -> Quick look at the saves -> 4hrs played after "Reaper IFF" -> Watch all your plans of how you are going to play ME3 with this Shepard burn -> Profit.

Didn`t cry. Or at least I dont admit it.

Also during Tali's Loyalty Mission: "With all due respect Admirals, I didn't represent one of your people. I represented one of mine."

I came a bit close to tears when Zaeed died on the Suicide Mission. Apparently his experience leading mercenary squads did not qualify him to lead the second fireteam and survive. Mordin also died during that mission, 'holding the line.'

The only time I really cried was at the end of the Overlord DLC, when the camera zooms in on David (I think that's the autistic boys name) and he keeps saying that mathematical equation and then goes on with: 'It all seemed harmless...' or something like that... Makes me cry like a little girl... Poor boy...

Sincerely,

I cried when Mordin became a biotic for a brief moment. He wanted to hold the bubble!

I don't think I ever cried, especially when seeing theat krogan female body since I saw it was a recycled asset. The prevalence of rushed and recycled assets drew me out of the game and negatively impacted my ability to tkae the game seriously.

Nope.   Must've saved it all up for ME3.

But if you repeat that, I'll have to kill you.

Didn't cry once in ME2, but the Samara / Shep 'romance' I thought very sad / melancholy. I understand her motivations, but still sad.

Normandy Crash Site...I got teary eyed here. Seeing the Normandy all broken and remembering the locations on the ship, the sad music playing, Pressley's datapad and how proud he was to serve with aliens, the flashbacks... :crying:

No near tears in Me2 for me.  Overlord was definitely sad.  Only time I really felt sympathy for the "villain"

1st time playing ME2 was pretty devastating to me when they destroyed my baby SR1. Waking amongst Cerberus was just pouring salt into my wounds. I'm sure that Miranda and Jacob got pretty tired of my constant crying/yelling at them... wasn't really anybody else to yell at that point. Also yelled at Tali, cause I really didn't give a f**** about anything at that point. My mood was very down until Joker came along and told me about the SR2. I don't think I've ever had a mood change that fast before. All I wanted to do was hug Joker, and hug the SR2, finally some happy tears :P

Only from laughter, the first time I heard Mordin sing.

ME2 wasn't big on those kinds of emotional scenes. There were a few heavy moments... but they were rare. ME2 was a get-your-blood-pumping action movie. A ****-yeah that's awesome kinda movie. I mean, look at the array of characters we get, and some of those missions were/are fantastic to play through.
