Only from laughing so hard after seeing Shepard make the Batarian drink his own poison
Can't remember a moment in ME2, but several moments in ME3 come to mind: the sacrifice of Legion and Mordin, and the death of Thane.
When Legion asks 'does this unit have a soul?' and he refers to itself as 'I' instead of 'we' , inferring he has become a true individual, and then sacrifices himself.
That was really touching.
No, not that I can think of. I'm a very stoic person, and I'm especially good at detecting when ME tries to get hamfisted with its emotional content. Besides, most of the scenes people cry about are scene's where I'm usually angry that it's not dark enough, or apathetic since I can't behave the way I want.
Chose to not let Miranda meet her sister in the most current renegade playthrough, and she broke into tears as they left. That scene make me really sad and teared up a little bit myself. In the past I always let them meet even with renegade Shepard.
The end of Overlord.
When Shepard says to Tali to come back to "Our spaceship."
When Miranda is afraid to talk to Oriana.
But ME3 is the episode which made me cry the most... ![]()
The Normandy Reborn
I didn't cry during Mass Effect 2, but I did get teary eyed maybe twice (yes there is a difference. ME2 - teary eyed. ME3 - balling my eyes out lol!).
Most of the time ME2 either gave me goosebump moments or "Hell Yeah!" moments.
Sad: Tali crying after she finds her dead father; The end of Overlord with David saying over and over "It all seemed harmless"
Other epic, touching, & just because I thought they were awesome moments:
1) Normandy Reborn with Joker
2) VS reunion on Horizon. I felt guilty that they mourned me. I felt hurt/angry because they didn't trust me anymore
3) Liara finally breaking down after defeating the Shadow Broker
4) Miranda tearing up after meeting her sister
5) Tali's trial "Let's get back to our ship"
6) Grunt Loyalty "Shepard is my Battlemaster. He/She has no equal"
7) Joker firing on the collector ship with the new Normandy & it's weapons
8) Going through the Omega 4 Relay
9) The last speech on Collector base when Shepard says, "nobodys coming out without scars" and Grunt 's reaction is like "HaHa Yeah!". I love that guy.
10) If you romanced Liara, at the end of LOSB when you hug each other in your cabin, and when she leaves Shep says, "Come back soon Liara"
11) That damn music that plays during your love scene.
Too many moments. Great game.

Excellent & well-thought out post there linuslucy99!
Not tears in ME2 -- but moments where you stop and think. This was especially memorable in my various dialogues on the conversation wheel with Legion. This REALLY yanked on me in ME3 when Geth-Quarian cutscenes were played on the mission where Shep shoots the orange & yellow boxes.
And in ME3 "with utter sarcasm, human” I cried (with everyone else) when TIM got shot.
No tears, but there were a couple sad moments.
The ones that stand out for me was visiting the Normandy crash site, Nef's mother crying and talking about her daughter (probably why I've never not killed Morinth), David's last words at the end of Overlord, Kasumi's reaction to Keiji's hologram, and Shepard suffocating after getting spaced. Of those, I'd say the Normandy crash site probably had the most feels. For such a small DLC it was surprisingly poignant.
I shed a manly tear at the end of the suicide mission.
" It all seemed harmless"
Damn, it gets me every time
. Oh yeah!!!I only got emotional in that way during ME3.
In ME1 and ME2...the emotional times were more of a "**** yeah!" type of emotion.
