I've got hundreds of hours into ME2 and ME3, and hundreds more in ME3MP, but I've never played ME1 before... until now! I just finished it about an hour ago, and I can't wait to start ME2 with MY imported Shepard.

As an ME2/3 player, many of the historical decisions I didn't even know existed had been made for me by default. Kaiden vs. Ashley, Wrex was dead, Council sacrificed, Udina voted in... and many more. Not to mention that I had no idea how characters were introduced, where they came from, how they met, what they did / didn't do, etc.

And... Shepard calls her mom? Didn't see that one coming. (Yes, I always play a FemShep because I don't like the male Shepard's voice actor. He's so boring and lifeless.)

The announcement of the final DLC for ME3 and MP was the catalyst (pun intended) for making me want to play #1 more than ever, and I wasn't disappointed. The control / gameplay was obviously 1st-gen (thankfully, it's much improved in 2 ands 3), but I wasn't in it for the game play, I was in it for the storyline so it was fine. Except - does every elevator in the future crawl as slow as a fat slug in a skinny hole? Ugh.

Anyway, well done BW, for stuff you did 6 years ago and ever since.

The Default choices in ME2 and ME3 are all renegade choices(Everyone is dead at the end). Therefore, in order to get as much variation as possible, play with a Paragon shepherd.
