Actually, I think they showed a couple of really good examples of how to handle two of the worst things that can happen in a speed run - the split spawn in the basement (the loose banshee got kited back in to the main pack very quickly with no extra missiles wasted), and the rogue spawn in the nook when that position wasn't in place at the start of the wave (which was taken care of quickly enough, without messing up more spawns).

Aside from the trash tawk, an expert run for sure. I was laughing at the schmack until I heard my name and was all like "WAYDAMINUT!" and had to rewind to see if it was true. I guess I should be... flattered?

I would like to ask one thing. Is it possible to use the run glitch for pizza on Xbox, or is that exploit PC exclusive? Being able to run with the pizza would certainly make things a lot faster.

the purpose of the speedrun wasnt to farm credits,3/4 of us got max manifest but was to push the boundary and see ultimately what the lowest minimum time the game could produced, some say under 8 was impossible a month ago etc.

also xbox could do it the pizza glitch but it is not easy and common thing on the xbawks.

No you can't do the pizza running on Xbox in the same manner.

It wasn't perfect, there were cases of split spawns, one of them (can't remember who and which wave) wasn't in place. But they did what they had to do to correct. Watch it again (with both videos, preferably) and you'll see those moments. They're after wave 3, to save you some time. Oh wait, that's only 30 seconds of the run.

I think their strat is slightly different to yours. I was speedrunning with Bacon and some others last weekend and we used your strat I think, except we kinda failed. Our best time was 11:11

Got a few sub 10 with Bacon and Redjohn yesterday which wasnt too bad considering it was only my first time with them and we didnt have a consistent team with the 4th person (didnt manage to keep the same team for too many games) and with the consistent number of devices and hack objectives it felt like a normal speed run.

Well, we're currently strung up with the Ultimate N7 Gauntlet atm, and there's IRL stuff too, so we probably won't be speedrunning as much if at all any time soon. Still, we are looking for a fourth who is willing to do no rocket runs with an Australian host, and Feneckus isn't really all that enthusiastic, no matter what his reputation might suggest, so talk to cricketer about it. I don't actually organise any runs, I just hang around in Gold PUGs and show up when I'm summoned.
