i played with some randoms that did the box of shame on gold - they had low level weapons and gear ( really some of their gear was at one ), but I was not going to ridicule them for that.

I was lucky and when I started playing gold I found some great players to play with that already had high level stuff so I did not have to farm for credits ( but I did when my friends were not available, fbwgg in the old days ).

ive found that I need at least two good players on gold to be successful, your experience might be different.

I agree with this. It is a map exploit but I cant quite blame them for wanting to farm credits. Though they will eventually realize that the store will always troll them anyway, .

I would prefer that they actually try to play in a non-cheap manner, but I am not going to go out of my way to mess up their setup.

I don't mind camping, but I do mind leechers. Especially ones who are clearly capable of contributing.

Incidentally, it's technically is possible to lock someone in the box of shame, but the exercise would not have the intended effect. Which is too bad, really.

When did Bioware admit to this? If that was their intention it seems like it would be easier to get rid of the box rather than design a whole character around it.

I was the friend who started the match with silent . We sat in gold lobby and no one came so he wanted to just start . I said I can't really handle a gold duo so I switched to edi bot to go with his geth infiltrator since even if I die I can magic self revive . We started match. Another edi bot arrived wave and killed everything . Juggernaut Arrived end of wave 2. So 4 very strong characters . Juggernaut spent waves 3-9 in the box. Maybe he thought he would be too slow to help waves 3,6? But we basically had a 3 man match. I did wonder why banshees started piling up next to him, didn't realise silent was kiting them there. I did go up to him every wave and destroy his hex shield but it didn't get him out. Wasn't v enjoyable experience.

yes i'm fully aware the juggernaut isn't DESIGNED to eliminate rio camping. however the synckill immunity and staggering amount of shields he's equippped with are clearly conducive to allowing inexperienced players to venture out and experience higher difficulties WITHOUT the need to hide so often.

Sometimes people just don`t know their characters, had to tell a guy with a juggy he could restore his own shields by heavy melee. I`ve seen a dude using the AIU and didn`t use tac cloack??
