Hi.
I've recently created a unique item(located within the players backpack) with the ability to teleport the player and change the state of his game. I'm calling it the Map of Time for now and its main purpose will be to allow players to revisit lothering, the wilds, get access to a few merchants that become inaccessible ect.
I've recently encountered the problem of getting the spell impact of the item to intiate a conversation. As far as i can tell this is the easiest way to make a portable item of such complexity (ie: it will have to take you to multiple locations) work. That is if it CAN work.
So i ask you, is this possible?
If so can i have please a brief rundown on the functions for intiating a conversation dialog.
Much regards,
K
Note: This item won't be God like, any teleportations will require the player to return to his original location with any effects caused by combat returning with him. It will allow you however to stock up on health potions mid-battle...
Inventory Item starts a conversation.
