Haha I admit, I was initially going to post a purposely dumb request. >.> But I decided I'd rather learn some cool tricks for my Volus. I remember the panicked feeling when I first played with him and realised he couldn't crouch for cover!

If you're ever in the mood to post more, I'd be interested in seeing more Vorcha! I've also been enjoying the Vanguard videos.

Hmm...I remember the Vorcha Engineer being unfun to play (his powers don't complement each other at all), but looking at the Vorcha Soldier I think this could be fun:

I dropped into a PUG platinum game last night as an Asari Vanguard and used 5 medigel by the end of w1.  =(  A few judicious missiles here and there and when we full-extracted I was in first place.  =D  I finished replaying ME2 this past weekend as a Claymoar Vanguard and imported that save to ME3, so Vanguards are very much in vogue with me at the moment.  I think I'll do a Batarian Piranha and not waste too much time trying (and failing) to hatesurf.

No worries! I probably won't be around that time today, though; our oldest has 2 birthday parties to go to today and I'm planning special Dada time with our youngest. I'll probably be around a bit earlier than that, though, while our youngest is having his afternoon nap.

I await a Vorcha vid  I really enjoyed playing the campaigns as a Vanguard, but they're a bit difficult for me in MP. I find myself trapped in corners or surrounded by enemies quite fast.

one neat little trick for stasis: take duration on rank for and put the bubble "around" you while doing a device. stops all those annoying enemies which would interrupt you

Oh now that's clever.  That's really, frigging clever.  One of these days, though, I really need to try the non-bubble variant just for the experience.  My Asariguard usually only takes stasis to 3 ranks so I've gotten used to no bubble on her.

That kind of sneakiness would never have occurred to me.

yes dragoons are the only problem to this trick. bout it will kill swarmers stop phantoms/hunters/husks and abominations, which at least for me are the biggest problem when doing devices^^

I think I give up on trying to solo Plat. I did at least 10 attempts today, all of them with the TGI, and the best I did was w10 (eff yuo, devices on Glacier/Hazard...just eff yuo, mang).

phantoms weren't really a problem either, just have them run at you and blast them in the face
flamer is just perfect for reload canceling the claymore^^

Yeah, a Flamer Trooper is what I was thinking of. Meh, we'll see. I gotta get everyone back up to 20 before I buy packs.
