Buff the Spitfire.

It's like the Geth version of the Typhoon, only worse. You would think a gun that's heavier than the Javelin and slows down movement speed would pretty much own everything else in the AR category but the only thing the Spitfire has going for it is spare ammo and clip size.

Yeah. I only have it at 2. I had such high. Hopes for it, it looks great and really beefy but it just doesn't do the damage.
I have a Spitfire X.
Let's just say I'm less than amused.

Mattock, Harrier, Lancer, and PPR to name a few.
I haven't tried it, and based on what I'm hearing here
I won't be trying it until it's buffed to non-garbage levels.

But considering it's weight and movement penalty, it should be more that decent.

Understatement of the year.
They could reduce the weight penalty to 2.0 and get rid of the movement speed modifier and I would still just barely be able to justify using it over a Typhoon.

It's an AR, what did you expect? It's rare that we get an AR which is actually effective.

I expected it to vaguely resemble what it was in the SP campaign.

You expected more from a geth gun with SPIT in it's name? And after all the geth super soaker rifle jokes?
Quite frankly yes, I did expect alot from a weapon named after the aircraft that won the Battle of Briton.
On a serious note, I don't have it yet personally but I have seen it in action. From what I can see, unless they buff it, there will always be a better choice.
