I would suggest using it on the Juggernaut because by the time you need your siege pulses again the recharge should be done, there is no need to spam siege pulse on the juggernaut with his ability to recharge his shields. It doesnt make the Juggernaut go slower thankfully and with his Geth Weapon damage boost the gun seems great but mine you thats on Silver, I havent tried it on Gold and decided to finish my points for ADAs anti-sythentic gun first in hopes i can get more lvls on it. The 220 ammo clip isnt enough for me I need a bigger clip lol.
The PPR is better in every way at the moment, there is no reason to use the spitfire. The typoon is also better. If they are going to make it so heavy then I expect a plasma chaingun which shreds mooks and can bring down armoured bosses with sustained fire, at the moment I may as well tickle them. It's decent if I stack lvl3 amps and ammo on it, but frankly I can do the same on any of the good ARs and get a far better result.
But nothing beats being amused and having fun when using the gun with Juggernaut its not always fun using the best guns in the game all the time.
Therein lies the problem. On silver anything goes, which is fine. When I pop into silver I have a laugh and don't need to pay attention.
On gold and above, it's not fun, because the weapon is largely ineffective and you have to spend the whole match compensating for a bad weapon.
Well with the juggernaunt i find the best way to compensate is draining for shields
That doesn't work. It'll delay you getting downed, but you won't be able to deal with a pair of banshees, praetorians or scions hammering away up close, the Hex shield won't stop them, you can only stagger them with siege pulse, but not take them out and you then sacrifice your 40% DR.
No, you need a decent weapon to penetrate armour or you'll get overrun. PPR with drill or AP rounds will work very well. The Spitfire it might be half decent with amps and ammo, but again at mrk X with the drawbacks it has, I expect a lot more and I get it from the other UR ARs.

Good video, thanks. I assume that is Gold and not Platinum?

Rule of thumb: If it's overpowered in SP insanity... it will still need to be buffed for MP's silver and above.

Yeah. I only have it at 2. I had such high. Hopes for it, it looks great and really beefy but it just doesn't do the damage.
I have a Spitfire X.
Let's just say I'm less than amused.
I have it at IX and want it at X just so I don't get it anymore. Ashen (and everyone else) is right.

It's sort of OK on the Ghost, you use your jetpacks to move around more and obviously all the damage bonuses. I don't really like a gun being designed for one kit though (the Juggernaut), even if the damage is buffed I think the speed penalty should be reduced.
This is probably the best argument I`ve heard to date for buffing the spitfire. And it arguably would be better on a GI than the juggernaut, mainly due to accuracy bonuses and RoF bonuses. actually, I may try that, see if its more palatable.

It's designed for the Juggernaut, so the weight would dramatically increase your cooldowns to prevent you from also spamming Siege Pulse. With that said, it still does crap damage on him, so it's not even worth taking as siege pulse does more damage faster. I think they'll buff some of the new weapons next balance change. I'm guessing they just didn't want to release OP weapons and have to nerf them again. (Typhoon, Krysae, Falcon, etc)
Wait the falcon was once good? I only heard of such tales as legends......
Seriously though was it once good? everytime I think I have a reason to use it, there are just so many weapons that are better across almost all attributes.

It was the original Krysae, during about the first week or so. Used to be my favorite weapon, it's rof was about 135, then it got lowered to 50 IIRC. Giant nerf.

It was good when it was released. It was just nerfed.

Spitfire: 15 seconds
Typhoon: 13 seconds
Lancer: 20 seconds
PPR: 16 seconds
Harrier: 14 seconds
It's right there in the middle of the times, and armor isn't even it's strong point. Plus, you still have over 200 rounds left where you could have immediately moved onto the next Atlas before reloading, with over 700 in total.
I agree that due to it's weight and speed penalty it should be buffed, but it doesn't seem "bad" compared to the others you compared them against.

See though, the test was done in ideal circumstances.
Let's just say that when you have to solo two Banshees with the Spitfire and they keep getting in close and meleeing you faster than you can back away (and you've got an Adrenaline Mod 3 on your Juggernaut), missiles look absolutely amazing.
The burst DPS of the Spitfire is abhorrent, especially against targets that are smaller than an Atlas (meaning you don't hit with every shot).
I switched to the Crusader and I've been enjoying my Juggernaut a great deal more since, and that's with the painful quarter second aim delay.

Typhoon
Harrier
Falcon
PPR
Saber if you have a good aim.
Why did they have to add more garbage ARs?
