I get this bug and i used a respect pack for reset it but i get bug today again. If i use this character Bioware can ban me for use a "exploit"?

Yup. Just promote or use another reset card.

Yeah, it sort of sucks that you can get banned because they have not corrected a bug.  You are forced to promote or use a respec card.  I've never had such a bug personally but I can see how it would be irritating to be forced to use a respec card or promote when you just wanted to play the character.  After all,  you have not done anything to cause the issue and if you don't read BSN you might not even know it is a bug.

If you simply switch to another class, look at the powers, and switch back, it fixes itself for me.

And if i have the points and only spend the normal points i can play with this character?

6/6/6/5/3 and the rest of the points dont use they no?

yup happen to me recently when my adept class got to lvl 20 my collector got 72 points from lvl 19 to 20 lol. I felt the character needed a reset anyways so i promoted the class.

Yes Bioware's programming can get you banned...

Do they know what causes the bug? If they're so bothered by its existence that they'll ban anyone who happens to experience it, they should at least either figure out what's wrong or tell people they can't find the source of the problem. Making us lose all of our progress or give up a reset card just because they messed up is pretty disrespectful.

I get the bug when i buy a PSP and get any character upgrade and the 250k exp.

2. Promote and temporarily handicapped yourself

Players who do not frequent this forum wont know that this is bannable. But this is a legitimate bug that needs to be addressed by Bioware. Fix before banning would be preferable.

I still don't get how it's possible to max all the trees without realising that something isn't right. Surely when you've maxed 4 of the 5 it would be obvious that something's gone wrong somewhere.

Let me guess, you didn't realize that you invested 6 ranks in every skill?  This issue is just as easy to avoid doing as the missile glitch.  Claiming ignorance is not a valid defense.

I do not know one person who has been banned for having a fully maxed character. Luckily I stopped promoting and do not have to deal with this bug.

@ Shadow, The dev`s are usually pretty laid back, My guess is that they will/would give a warning before banning, I could be wrong.
