I hate to say it, but the Juggernaut has completely ruined PUGs.

What is bad is when they hide behind my talon merc. Nothing wrong with the character this is mass effect not some fps shooter that having a certain gun or character makes you better than every one give the new guys the overpowered character so i dont have to hold there hands. Once I see them hold guys up I run in with my reager and bye bye enemy. I prefer the talon and i have the collector and the AIU. I dont get caught up on the bow so im fine.

Thats the mose effective way to use it.  I've tried InvaderOne's build and it honestly didn't work for me.  A friend of mine suggested that I spec it for maximum health/damage resistance and its much better.  Usually you'll have this guy in front using melee 95% of the time to get all of the boss enemies attacking him while the team sweeps everything else up.  My team likes to run a juggernaut on our platinum speed runs.

I've seen plenty of PUGs last 30 minutes without Juggernauts. So, I don't know what you are talking about. The game has gotten more difficult over time. That's why the matches are lasting longer. Reapers used to be the most difficult faction. Now they are the weakest and they have not changed except for a small magnet hands nerf.  And there is so much content that it is difficult to get the better characters and max the better weapons.

I try and use my melee to distract big bosses, which usually works. Along with my gun and seige pulse.

Than my comrades leave me to get mobbed because they think I'm invincible and a kill stealer.

Great teamwork guys, great teamwork.

My only complaint is that we have to hold the LZ when extracting, would rather keep it clear then dash to it near countdown, but a juggernaut can't do that.

Every idiot is running this class. And all they do is casually stroll around the map, slow as hell, and melee EVERYTHING. Never use their guns or Siege Pulse EVER. I get it - their melee is a great survivabiltiy tool. NOT GOOD FOR DAMAGE. It's meant to help keep enemies off your teammates and as a way to revive your shields in a pinch, not for being your primary source of damage.

It honestly drags out matches way longer. An average Gold PUG is in the realm of 30 minutes now, whereas it used to be 23-25 minutes.

Sooo........blame the idiots and not the class....?

i love my juggy, i useally try and keep sync killers and boses on me for as long as possible cause i have hope the people im with smart enough to actually go kill all the small things and deplete the wave budget.

and depand on objective i keep as meny enemies on me as possible so they wont shoot team mates escorting a drone or hacking (keep syncers on me), siege puls all the things!!!!! pistol just for power amp attachment and weapon points >.>

A juggernaut should vastly speed up a gold run if played right. I notice DPS run away from bosses instead of stacking behind the juggernaut and blowing them to hell.

It's your fault.

If bosses are on your tail and you can't focus on killing mooks.....kite them into the juggernaut!

I don't need the Juggernaut's help to down a Marauder. If they only did it to tank bosses for the team, I wouldn't complain (in fact, that'd be nice).

But when they slooooooowly walk up to a Marauder in the distance to HM it to death, that's where I have a problem. And they do it for every enemy they see, rather than contribute to the team's DPS.

So your problem is with the player and not the class?

Omg, how dare someone use their new class, right? Especially one that's a specialized walking box of shame that insures no one on the team should get insta-killed, thus making other classes such as the Krogan Warlord much easier to play against anything but geth. Yup. Rude. Nerf them, nerf them to the ground.

I don't know what kind of pugs you used to get but a game with three randoms would rarely pull out a gold in 23-25 min range cuz they usually all die and leave me to solo with spread out spawns all other the place. I actually found the solo's I did for my Lone Wolf Challenge to be easier then playing gold with 3 randoms, lol.

Mostly, but it's becoming common in every PUG Gold match to have 1-2 Juggernauts who do this. I'm honestly hesitant to start up games with one in the lobby.

Umm.. where did I say this class needed a nerf? This is more an observation of this class being an idiot magnet, not that it's OP/UP/etc,

What? I still need 500k more melee damage to complete Combat Mastery.
Just kidding. I don't use Melee as my primary attack when PUGing with the Juggernaut

FIVE TO SEVEN WHOLE MINUTES

Seconded.  It's not that big of a deal, as long as the person using it doesn't manage to get themselves killed all the time then I'm okay with the Juggs drawing enemy fire away from the rest of the team.

havent read much of the comments, forgive me, I did read the first page.

played a game on hydra earlier,2 juggernaughts just stood immediately where you spawn at the lz ALL GAME AND NEVER MOVED ONCE.
there was a destroyer, and he just hung out in between them.
dying, raising each other, but never leaving a little 4 m area
by the end of the game i had all of their scores combined, not because i think im awesome, because they werent even doing anything

they werent doing well either, they would not leave their little circle ( with NO cover, do they really expect me to hang out with them? wtf?)
one had a botb banner.
we extracted ( at least I did), but it was possibly the lamest, slowest, gold game ive ever played
at least every juggy ive played with hasnt been this annoying.

didn't read al the post also, but I don't agree with the OP.

New is fun and interesting, give it a week or to then people move on. It's like the new krogan Vanguard.

Also take in consideration that there are a lot of new people and the juggernaut is the only way for them to play silver(very new)/gold(reletively new). They need to learn the playstyle. And how more people are having fun, I mean new people and not like me and the most of us from march 2012, the more effort is going to be put in mass effect 4

I PUG from the beginning, and sometimes I carry, and sometimes I'm being carried.

Playing the Juggernaut isn't a good way to learn how to play difficulties that you otherwise wouldn't be able to contribute. It teaches bad habits, if anything.

You don't learn where or when to take cover. You don't learn timing to dodge or when to shoot/fire powers against certain enemies, etc.

Juggernauts play entirely differently from the other classes.

I also enjoy playing it as 'support' i specced mine for shield restore/improved 'barrier shield'. I had 1 game playing with 2 other Juggernauts and that was awesome. We were like a tank roaming across the map basically killing everything that moved. The Bat- Soldier only used his grenades and stayed behind the 3 Jugs.

And the Jug isn't as invincible as it may seem. Due to it's massive size it's sometimes hard to see characters come from the 'left' like husks/aboms i had several times that i couldn't move because a husk/abom was blocking my path and 2 Brutes went charge on me... guess what i died :P

It's a great class for taking objectives, low cooldown weapons and you get nice times on your Hex shield/Turret (if you are using the turret). I also specced into Pulse and it's awesome 10% weapon dmg per pulse and pushback. I'm still trying to figure out which weapon to use, currently i'm running around with that 'ADAS - stagger' gun but it's not great.

The best thing is that you cannot get sync killed unlike the Krogan Warlord.... which is ridiculous...
