I hate to say it, but the Juggernaut has completely ruined PUGs.

I get it - their melee is a great survivabiltiy tool. NOT GOOD FOR DAMAGE. It's meant to help keep enemies off your teammates and as a way to revive your shields in a pinch, not for being your primary source of damage.
It honestly drags out matches way longer. An average Gold PUG is in the realm of 30 minutes now, whereas it used to be 23-25 minutes.
Sooo........blame the idiots and not the class....?

It's your fault.
If bosses are on your tail and you can't focus on killing mooks.....kite them into the juggernaut!

I don't need the Juggernaut's help to down a Marauder. If they only did it to tank bosses for the team, I wouldn't complain (in fact, that'd be nice).
But when they slooooooowly walk up to a Marauder in the distance to HM it to death, that's where I have a problem. And they do it for every enemy they see, rather than contribute to the team's DPS.

Omg, how dare someone use their new class, right? Especially one that's a specialized walking box of shame that insures no one on the team should get insta-killed, thus making other classes such as the Krogan Warlord much easier to play against anything but geth. Yup. Rude. Nerf them, nerf them to the ground.
I don't know what kind of pugs you used to get but a game with three randoms would rarely pull out a gold in 23-25 min range cuz they usually all die and leave me to solo with spread out spawns all other the place. I actually found the solo's I did for my Lone Wolf Challenge to be easier then playing gold with 3 randoms, lol.

Mostly, but it's becoming common in every PUG Gold match to have 1-2 Juggernauts who do this. I'm honestly hesitant to start up games with one in the lobby.

Umm.. where did I say this class needed a nerf? This is more an observation of this class being an idiot magnet, not that it's OP/UP/etc,

Seconded. It's not that big of a deal, as long as the person using it doesn't manage to get themselves killed all the time then I'm okay with the Juggs drawing enemy fire away from the rest of the team.NovaCypher wrote...

played a game on hydra earlier,2 juggernaughts just stood immediately where you spawn at the lz ALL GAME AND NEVER MOVED ONCE.
there was a destroyer, and he just hung out in between them.
dying, raising each other, but never leaving a little 4 m area
by the end of the game i had all of their scores combined, not because i think im awesome, because they werent even doing anything
they werent doing well either, they would not leave their little circle ( with NO cover, do they really expect me to hang out with them? wtf?)
one had a botb banner.
we extracted ( at least I did), but it was possibly the lamest, slowest, gold game ive ever played
at least every juggy ive played with hasnt been this annoying.

New is fun and interesting, give it a week or to then people move on. It's like the new krogan Vanguard.
Also take in consideration that there are a lot of new people and the juggernaut is the only way for them to play silver(very new)/gold(reletively new). They need to learn the playstyle. And how more people are having fun, I mean new people and not like me and the most of us from march 2012, the more effort is going to be put in mass effect 4
I PUG from the beginning, and sometimes I carry, and sometimes I'm being carried.

BWAHAHAHAA... an average Gold PUG is failed mission if you don't feel like carrying

Playing the Juggernaut isn't a good way to learn how to play difficulties that you otherwise wouldn't be able to contribute. It teaches bad habits, if anything.jvdn wrote...

You don't learn where or when to take cover. You don't learn timing to dodge or when to shoot/fire powers against certain enemies, etc.
Juggernauts play entirely differently from the other classes.

And the Jug isn't as invincible as it may seem. Due to it's massive size it's sometimes hard to see characters come from the 'left' like husks/aboms i had several times that i couldn't move because a husk/abom was blocking my path and 2 Brutes went charge on me... guess what i died
It's a great class for taking objectives, low cooldown weapons and you get nice times on your Hex shield/Turret (if you are using the turret). I also specced into Pulse and it's awesome 10% weapon dmg per pulse and pushback. I'm still trying to figure out which weapon to use, currently i'm running around with that 'ADAS - stagger' gun but it's not great.
The best thing is that you cannot get sync killed unlike the Krogan Warlord.... which is ridiculous...
