 I played ME2 about a year ago, and my Sheppard was surprised to find that Archangel was actually Garrus.
I recall a scene where he unmasked himself and my Sheppard was stunned.
I'm replaying it and today I did the Dossier: Archangel mission, and we fought through the mercs and up to Archangel, and the scene went directly to the part where Garrus is unmasked, and I had two dialogue options, each saying something to the effect of 'Hey Garrus'.
He was already unmasked, and there was no surprise.
I don't know what I did differently.
The only major change is that in this game I have Zaeed, but he didn't contribute any dialogue.
I'm actually wondering if the game glitched and skipped/jumped ahead, or if I just did something I'm not aware of.
There was no dialogue previously to suggest I knew who Archangel was.
This happen to anyone else?

Note: - I did recruit him in ME1.
