I think it's a lot like what happened with Indiana jones. Allow me to explain. I'm fairly certain that at some point the writers for the fourth indiana jones were hanging out and brainstorming. 'You know what is sweet? Indiana jones. You know what else is sweet? Aliens.' 'Hey I just had a genius idea, lets combine the two! Logic be damned.' Enter epic fail.

The premise behind Citadel sorta seems like that to me. But I'm still crazy stoked about it though

If it turns out to be Shepard's surprise birthday party I'm going to facepalm so hard.

However if the "council archives" mentioned in the description actually produces some meaningful lore revelations then the DLC would be deemed justifiable in my eyes.
