Ok, so normally i would go with Ash, but i don't want to this time.  I'm considering 3 options:

• Romance Liara, and go with Tali in ME2 and 3
• Romance Liara and stay with her through ME2 and 3
• Stay a bachelor and go with Tali in ME2 and 3

I'm a Talimancer, but i'm curious how the Liara stuff works out through the series. Any thoughts on which i should choose?

A bit too late to answer this, perhaps. But still...

Option 2 for me. I can vouch for Liara's romance to be very well done, definitely worth playing through it for the three games. If you remain faithful to her, Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC is a really nice treat, too. The catching up scenes in the Normandy are among my favorites in the entire series.

I have yet to try a Tali romance. I've always thought of her more like a little sister. But I can see that there are a lot of very nice moments in the game for a Talimancer (e.g. loyalty mission in ME2 or Rannoch in ME3) and, from the little I've experienced of it in ME2, it looks very good quality wise too.

I ended up choosing option 1, so yeah, a little too late. I might do an insanity run sometime and stay true to Liara then though.
I see Tali as more than a little sister, and yeah there are some very quality moments with Tali. Tali is the kind of girl i would be with in RL tbh.

For what it's worth, I second Fog.gene. Liara's romance feel's pretty canon. I think its works better than the other romances, and her character makes more sense too. Especially in ME3, her ending is great.

That said, I've not romanced Tali either. Should really get around to a Tali romance.
