I recently did an interview (primarily concerning the Vault and keeping old games alive), and one of the questions I was asked was something along the lines of "is it true you've stopped beating your wife" - they asked if (in my opinion) multiplayer was the only thing keeping NwN going.
So I trotted out a statistic or two, the primary ones being that 5 of the top 5 downloads (NwN1) were SP and the single hottest (in more ways than one) module on the Vault (in terms of DLs per month) is SP.
I'm very interested in what this active community thinks and where *their* interest lies is where I should, as a builder, be paying attention.
You are not my only muse, my friends, but you are certainly one of them :-)

Still, your statistics show that in any case NWN single player is not dead at all, and maybe also that single player modules are generally more popular than downloadable multiplayer modules on the Vault (which stands to reason as they are much easier to just dive in whenever you feel like it, as opposed to finding a friend who has time and interest in playing a given module with you and then schedule a meeting).

One thing to keep in mind though is that the players who focus exclusively on Persistent Worlds multiplayer are a lot less likely to visit the Vault or even the BSN forums. Many PWs have their own forums and I've known players who totally ignored everything outside of their favorite (and sometimes only ever experienced) PW, so it's hard to try and compare any numbers.

I guess we are all different. I spend my time mostly playing and building on our persistant world. Yes I do post on our own forums, but I also spend a lot of time on this forum as well. It helps me to see how everyone else is doing, and yeah, I can get some scripting help too. I probably read more than I post though. There are a lot of interesting things going on here.
I also spend time on the Vault. I have downloaded many nice things from there, and added them to our module. I am surprised at how many nice things I can add, without requiring the players download extra haks. A special thank you to all the people at the Vault, who spend time to make all of the nice stuff available for us to download. I'm sure it is a lot of work, so I appreciate what you have done for all of us.
