How do I go about sabotaging the Genophage cure while also keeping Mordin alive?

If Eve dies (Maelon's research trashed) with Wreav in charge Mordin will survive.

Kill Wrex, delete Maelon's data.

So there's no way to do it if Wrex is alive? What happens if I destroy Maelons data but Wrex is still alive in ME3?

I do believe Mordin will still refuse to stop the cure. If you kill him and sabotage it anyway, Wrex confronts you and you'll be forced to kill him too.

You could just start the story with ME2. Wrex is dead, Rachni Queen is dead, Council is dead, Anderson is Councilor (I think), opposite-gender VS is alive, no ME1 romance.

Has anyone succeeded in keeping Mordin alive through the ME2 SM without doing his LM? I find destroying the data so stupid that I can't bring myself to make Shepard do it.

You also either need an import for the reputation bonus or be on a ng+ to have a high enough reputation to convince Mordin to not cure the genophage.

You can also skip his LM in and 2 and not have the data that way.

Otherwise as everyone said, you need to have Wreav and no genophage data.

I think you just need to leave a loyal Garrus, Zaeed, and Grunt (or 2 out of 3) holding the line with him.

Yup. Just make sure to leave a loyal Zaeed, Garrus, & Grunt holding the line with Mordin, and be sure to keep Jack, Tali, and Kasumi off the line at all costs (read: take two of them to the Terminator, and make the other escort your crew back).

And if you're also not okay with killing Wrex on Virmire (I totally wasn't), when you're first on the Citadel in ME1, don't pick him up during the Fist fiasco. Once Wrex asks to join before going on the Normandy again, simply refuse his offer.

Sadly, no. It's either Wrex or Mordin.
