It's funny that you bring up dignity when you would only be happy if BioWare completely abandoned theirs. They are proud of their work and you want them to be ashamed of it and to admit it's trash. Each day that they don't is an insult to your very being.

I still love the MEU and ME1 & 2 and this is still the best place to vent about 3 being so bloody awful.

I pop on every couple of days or so to see if BiowEAre have come to their senses and have a chat, nothing to be ashamed of imo.

I play Kingdom Hearts and Persona 4, so I'm used to cheese. In fact I love cheese. It's a shame that people can't relax a little bit and take in the cheesiness. Heck my favorite standalone PS3 game is Tales of Graces F and that game is just one solid hunk of cheddar cheese.

Fix the endings like they've been told would be listening, not some half ass cash in on loyal fans feelings with this tripe.

They didn't HAVE to put in the work for the EC, but they did because they wanted their fans to be happy. 

OOORRR maybe thye made the EC because they recieved an unprecedented backlash and no one would want to buy any of their products or dlc after this. They had to save face, they had to do something. If not it woukd have been much, much wore for them. They ARE a company who need to maintain an image and reputation and though its still been tarnished permanately, it wouldve been much worse. It was a universally panned piece of trash ending whatever the cause. PERIOD. They put out a bad and rushed product. Ignoring the fans who love and care about their creations and pay their salaries would have been suicide, especially at the level this was at. {the ec did help and im not saying there werent ppl who WANTED to do this for the fans. there was probably people who wanted them to throw at that ending to begin with ; ) }

If they charged money for something like that it would make the on-disc DLC backlash (From Backlashes?) look like a teddy bear picnic. That's the rub with DLC quests: they can't be too important or else fans will wonder why they weren't in the game in the first place.

Extended Cut was, in my opinion, an absolutely awesome thing for BioWare/EA to do. But I don't expect to see something as substantial to be released for free ever again.
