I clearly am not their intended nor desired audience, which is odd considering that for most of the series I thought I was, I just wish they'd made that clear six years ago before I started ME1.

It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

Maybe, hurts more though.

I can see Anderson at a public telephone at the reaper-invaded London, telling Shep to relax, like "don't worry Shep have some free time, we're just fighting the reapers here, no big deal, it's not that they have a chance at defeating us"
I know they said that it wasn't post ending but it feels a bit weird otherwise.

oh man, i'm sorry but i couldn't stop laughing while watching this trailer. there is cheesy, there is cheesefest, and then there is this cheesestorm. :pinched:

and then the trailer showed the picture taking part and i thought that was really heartwarming :crying:

and proceed to cheese again with Shepard's (or was it Garrus') Normandeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Ahaha, the lost art of subtlety

Despite the plot and in-game timing of this being absolutely absurd. A part of me is already giggling at the ridiculous bi-polar potential the DLC offers. You can party and broship with Wrex and Mordin before completely screwing them over. The tone shift is going to be bloody jarring to say the least.

Still, if taken as an AU fan service. It does look quite entertaining.

That has to be simultaneously the most awesome, and most unnerving, gaming related image I have seen in a while. I have a phobia with freaky alien eyes and those are front and center. Also, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw Martha in the woman who came to warn Shep about the people trying to kill him.

Sorry to see the end of Shepard and the Mass Effect series. Better have something brilliant up your sleeves Bioware to follow up. No more elves and dwarves please, more space!!

Getting past the look of how this is it for the game and for Shepard and his friends (this really is the end and the trailer makes you really feel it), it was made to be overtly sentimental.

It is sappy when you stand back and look at it, but it accomplishes what it sets out to make you feel. You feel sadness that this is finally the end of Shepard and Mass Effect (I'm done with BW after tomorrow), but it does promise you with the feeling of one more adventure with the crew and characters that you love. The enemy is interesting (and you can see a lot of the obvious references to who his character is designed to be like), though I really doubt he'll make much of a difference in the end.

This may be my last post until anything future related comes up, but...I'm very excited for these next upcoming hours, and I'm dreading the 4.1GB download on my Xbox.

I'll be getting this and hope not to have buyers remorse afterwards!

I'm not really looking forward to the two hour wait on the download though. But I got some multiplayer to do till around 3 am and probably won't be playing the DLC till about 5 in the morning.

Also got around 7 shepards to play through it too. Hopefully I'll see MOST of the content eventually that way.

I'm not mpressed yet. Trailers can fool us they take only the good bits and you do not get the big picture.

Hm, this is the most tempting of the DLC so far, but I'm still going to wait for the reviews, and if it's mediocre like the previous ones I'll abstain from buying it and just watch a youtube playthrough. I still don't understand why Bioware didn't create an Expansion that gave the fans demanding it a new ending. I mean look at what Activision did with the King George Washington DLC, Bioware could have done something like that with the Indoctrination Theory. Even if the IT wasn't going to be considered canon by Bioware, it would have given all of the fans what they wanted. I'm over the Mass Effect 3 ending, but I still feel a little pang of sadness/disappointment when I think about the ending, and that will always be attached to Bioware unless they do something to fix it. It sucks that they say this is the last DLC for ME3, so I know now that Bioware will have forever lost a fan in me. Even if ME4 and DA3 are great games, I'll never be the same fan as I was before the horrible ME3 ending. :/

Man, this would have been awesome. As this is the last DLC it would have been wicked to end it all once and for all, and know that in your heart you did it. Shepard did it. Then we can all have a  reunion, cheesy photos, a few battle of people trying to take advantage of the situation (Cerberus loyalists)  and an afterparty (because we would deserve it!). Then we can call move on and keep Bioware in our hearts. But no. This upsets me.

This is embarrassingly bad, but what else is new. Cheese on top of cheese with cheese on the side, and ****** to your vurtual waifu/husbando of choice.

Seems to be the new MO for biower, they know their audience well.

No buy from me, just like with any other ME3DLC.
