Ok. Fair points. Certainly in the past Liara has played a large role (LotS for example), but for that reason she is featured a little more prominantly in this trailer. She has been used as a face for the game and is easily recognized by casual ME fans as a character in the series. Not everyone would know who Traynor, Grunt or even Wrex woudl be, yes hardcore fans absolutely, but casual fans, less so.

For speaking, actually Joker gets more lines. Edi also speaks as does Kaidan. It is pretty much impossible to show a small bit of all the characters all speaking and still call it a trailer. Plus, some of what would be said would spoil what they are talking about, so can't really be shown.

I'm not dismissing your worry, I was genuinely curious about what you saw so we can do better for future trailers. You'll have to wait and play it or wait for someone else to play it and see what they say about "X" characters involvement in the game.

Liara fan here (though not getting ME3 DLCs), but I don´t think this applies this time. I´d say hardcore fans are the ones who buy DLC, I don´t think casuals are still around after 1 year.

Why wasit a joke? You get nearly as much romantic conversation with Mirada as the on ship ones. You just don'thave much no romantic conversations.

The only issue is that she is not on the ship.

actually. Now that you mention that, I do agree. Casual fans aren't going to buy this DLC (not being priced...at $15 or whatever the price is) so story and romance content isn't there type of soup

Clearly. Look at it!  Like 5 scenes?!  Its a crime!
A writers pet deserves at least 10 scenes.  If not an entire trailer and
narration, move over shep.  Im appaled at this Citadel DLC vid.

There is no implication in the trailer that she has romance content, unlike everyone else.

BioWare knows exactly to whom they're selling this DLC. That's extremely obvious.

Hence why Liara was featured, to confirm her presence, but not in a romance situation. Casuals will see an assassination conspiracy and the "blue alien", and they may or may not drop the cash on it after hitting Metacritic. But yeah, they ain't their target.

Anyway, everyone else can die but her, James and Edi. It only makes sense that she would initially be there a bit more.

Liara rocks...3rd best next to Garrus and Tali. Hope she tears it up. If we end up with something half as epic as shadbroker most will be pleased. Liara haters can choose to not download if her presence is too much...

Joker and wrex get alot of screen time in the dlc, also Liara is a fan fav. You can love her or hate her, does not changet he fact she has a big fanbase almost on par with Garrus thus her and Garrus will get the most attention because of their fanbases. Same with Wrex being featured alot in the dlc.

Of course I did, but I was referring to Chris' comment about face recognition and Liara---and her moment early in the trailer is fairly pronounced.
