Did you pay attention to Joker at all in ME. ALL of his bones are brittle. The recoil of the avenger should have broken his arm, hell the crash on the Collector base should have broke some bones, it did not. So ya, Joker not having any bones broken by Shepard throwing him into cover is hardly an issue compared to the crap Bioware has already pulled and seemed to get away with in the past.

Yes, I did. Did you? Vrolik's Syndrome only afflicts him in the legs.

Joker himself even says it in ME1 (more than once).

"Well I don't fly her with my feet, Commander".
"Just don't expect me to get up and dance"

Didn't you know that Joker got those expensive Bone Weaves done? His bones are as strong as any normal person's now. While they were working for Cerberus, he sweet talked EDI into embezzling some credits his way to buy them. EDI had that money transferred with no problem by hacking Henry Lawson's accounts, since Miranda already was monitoring those.

How is that for an ass pull. Do we need any more? Just ask me if we do.

Joker is Malingering OMG..wait'll we tell Bioware...they'll freak and change the endings..

Zaeed: He does well for a guy with glass bones

Vrolik's Syndrome: Brittle Bone dissease. Never does it ever state it only effects just his legs. In fact Joker says he had several fractures when he was still in the womb. You assume it affects just his legs, which is silly.

Oh Joker also said in ME he needs help to walk around. yet in ME2 he walks with no help.

None because the lore can be bent or broken so long as it looks cool. That's the BioWare of today.

Bioware started that in ME2 with Joker. Joker can fire a rifle and no bones get broken.

He doesn't fire it with his feet, now does he?

Let's compare context. The first quote of yours is when Shepard roughly grabs Joker's arm, trying to evacuate him from the wrecking Normandy. The second is immediately following the Normandy crashing onto the Collector base.

Both of my quotes are taken, in-game, during a conversation in which Joker explicitly discusses his disease. You are also fully aware that BBD doesn't necessarily affect every home in the body, yes? If the bones in his arms and hands were brittle, he would t be flying the Normandy. Sh*t, he wouldn't even have been admitted to flight school. You don't need legs to fly. You DO, however, need everything else.

It's more like limping than walking. And he takes meds.

"Brittle bone" doesn't mean "bones that will shatter on impact". He can still walk, but it's very difficult, hence crutches.

Also what Jonathan said.

In ME2, Joke states that cerberus  gave him surgery, to improve his codition. He still has it, but he doesn't need crutches and managed to survive the normandy crash without serious damage to his skeleton.

Yet he states this. This is ignored in ME2 and ME3, so ya I'll admit i was wrong about his arms but his legs and him being able to walk, well limp around fine with no help at all is contradicting established lore.

Didn't Joker say during his ME2 intro that Cerberus actually provided gene therapy for the disease as part of his compensation package?

This DLC seems like it will be a bit more light-hearted than the majority of ME3, what with Shepard's sense of humor and getting the squad back together vibe.

and I'm OK with that.

actually you were only partially incorrect, there isn't a 'bone disease' that normally only affects selected bones, as they're intigral systemecally, affect one, they're all suspect. The game kind of rolls around a mysterious bone disorder, but brittle bone disease affectively weakens all bones, the legs are more prone and the ones furthest from the heart are the weakest. Ostioporosis is another general term. The writers should'a researched that one a bit more..imho

as far as the getting around thing, hes stubborn, apparently.

As well as the limp and hunch in Joker's body language would suggest his spine is curved. Implyng the disease effects more then just his legs,as the disease is known to effect the entire body. Not just bones.

I smiled at that line, moreso at how it was said. Really sarcastically and badass. Those are the kinds of characters I like to see in video games, movies, etc.

Take a good long look at his nickname.

Obviously he likes to joke around and exaggerate on things. Hell, he even jokes in ME3 about how he could break a rib from sneezing.

But yes, there's some contradictions on his condition. But it's hardly worth looking into like this.
