Who is he? At first I thought he was the Architect, but he doesn't look like Darkspawn, and the Architec obviously appears in the trailer. So who or what is it, maybe a new kind of demon?

The DA wiki refers to him as a new enemy called 'the children'. I dont know where this fact comes from though.

I think I saw that in an interview, but for what it said the children is the blood silhouette, but I could be wrong. Perhaps they are the same.
