Is 1200 MP to much?

Omega? Not so much. But its now $15.
Citadel, same thing. Don't know what to say of it yet though.

What does that prove? If it's a success, Bioware will say they did a good job and pat themselves on the back, if it's failed due to boycott, they could either use it as a reason for not fixing the ending or don't care at all since it's the last DLC. People should just buy it if they like the content. In the end, if you don't buy something because of the ending or some other reasons, it's just you who lose out.Chris Priestly wrote...
It's not about if you can afford it or not.
For me, it is about the principle, don't buy it for $15.

Are you saying you would not buy any DLC for $15, or this specific DLC out of some other principle?

Right, so the use of superior compression technology (which would leave traffic to play MP) and get you the DLC quicker would be a bad thing because it would reduce file size? It's four gigabytes in content, so yes it's perfectly reasonable.
Do people consider doorstopper length novels a "feature" ("50 Shades of Grey - good value for money because it's 530 pages!") or could you name a single movie promoted using it's length ("The Hobbit - good value because 169 minutes of content")?

It wasn't for Omega though. Omega was a rip.

But what if it is a 4 hour story with the same quality that shadow Borker had (though i personally doubt it is the case)?TheProtheans wrote...

Would it not be worthy of 15$?
Principles are fine when they are logical. But more content=morework=higherdevelopmentcost=higherprice--> seems fair to me.
Of course if it a pinnacle station v2 with few cutscenes and 1 hour of story missions, i can see how that principle can be valid.

So at first glance this dlc seems to be overpriced, but I will wait until it has been out and I have played it to make this my final opinion.

While we try to make the content good value for the price charged, if it is too expensive for you (you have other things to buy, you don't see the value in it, your rent is due, etc) then don't buy it. We think Citadel is good fun and worth the money. You will see around here tomorrow once it is out what the majority of people think.
If you are unsure if you want to spend that money on a DLC, wait and see what people think of it and then make up your mind. If you do not think it is worth it, spend your money on something you think you'll enjoy more.

50 Shades of Grey is probably not good value for content
The Way of Kings, oh, my yes.
Lots of content means lots of time spent on it. So a lot of something good is more valuable than less of something good.
Put another way, if this is a good dlc with more content than a smaller dlc also with good content, it will be worth more. Given the sheer size of the dlc, it's a pretty safe bet it's got more content than your typical DLC. Now what remains to be seen is the quality.

Yeah, because BioWare made everything for free before we were bought by EA right? And costs of development have remained stagnant since, oh, 2008?
As I said, some people will nto want this DLC or will not want to pay $15 for it. That is fine. YOU determine that value for YOU. If I say it is worth it and tha majority other people here (which is the minority, thanks for pointing that out) say it is worth it (or not) what matters is what matters to YOU.

On the other hand, it's people like you who are killing the games industry by sending the clear message that you are fine with being lied to and will keep buying their products no matter what.. In the end, if you don't buy something because of the ending or some other reasons, it's just you who lose out.
You might also want to google "deterrent" because you are completely missing the point here.
So yeah, I won't buy any DLC or future Bioware products until such a time that Bioware has offered a full refund to every customer or Casey Hudson resigns. Games are bought unseen, and once opened cannot be returned, so trust is of prime importance - if there are no repercussions for lying because people like you lack the willpower then what incentive does Bioware have for telling the truth in the future?
Compare this to any other situation - e.g. would you keep buying at a store that lied about the size of their shoes*, refused to give you a refund or to exchange them for a pair that fit? If so I've got a bridge to sell
* Ignoring the fact that you can usually try them on - assume that you have to take the assistant's word for that box containing size X shoes

I like this honesty, rather than a "GTFO, BUY IT OR GET OUT". Lol i wasnt exactly expecting that i guess, but its cool to see that. I think im actually gonna buy this one, didnt get leviathan or omega because of the ending soiling everything:sick:, but now im craving more ME

First off, most people are buying it or not, I really think not based on the price. And those who would buy it would probably pay as much as BioWare wanted
Beyond that, all DLC is totally overpriced. How much were some levels in Halo? Sorry, in that regard, BioWare isn't doing any more pick pocketing than any other company anyone buys DLC from on console...

Don't even go start with this garbage of a comment >__> He enjoys something then he will buy it, and you have no right or proof beyond your ignorant bitterness that he is "ruining" the gaming industry. What is ruining the gaming industry isn't a passionate fan of a series, one who is loyal to it.
I don't want to derail this topic into a rant about gimmicky motion controls and touch screens and casual gamers who eat up party games. Because that is what has caused the gaming industry to decline. It's not because of a Mass Effect fan >___>
