I would pay for the DLC that includes that. I'd pay the price of an entire game even.

I find it rather irritating that so many people (rightfully) complain about Synthesis but then go right on and complain about Lazarus using basically the same points they whine about Synthesis using - Vitalism. It's a human brain, not a machine. It's special. You can't restore function to it or replicate pieces of it, because it has a special spark that other matter doesn't.

A human brain deprived of oxygen WILL decompose to a point where recovery of memory is impossible and restoration of function is impossible, not because of some "special spark" or "vitalism" but biology, well technically organic chemistry.

Pretty much everything 'decomposes' on a long enough timeline.

These conversations could actually go somewhere if you and people like you weren't so insistent on posting information that obviously has no basis.

Just like evolution is hogwash and heliocentrism heresy?

David Bowie made a pact with Satan so this won't happen.

Also, if you could stop making crazy and totally ridiculous conclusions. Like saying "I guess you hate role playing" when I talk about class interrupts. Or saying I "totally changed my argument" because I replaced literally one word with a synonym.

now you are changing the subject.

Or as a friend so eloquently puts it, "moving the goalposts"

People who buy into this stuff so easily probably have a bookshelf of Deepak Chopra books. He mangles science in the same way. Just put the word "quantum" in everything, and suddenly it sounds legit. Quantum Chakra, quantum biofeedback, etc..

Plus Shepard is bleeding.  If a DNA sample is all that's needed...

These endings really weren't thought out very well at all.

Bioware doesn't understand science. Just look at Quarian "biology". Or what they think AI is (Spock hivemind, apparently).

Aside from the Dextro-based DNA, what's wrong with quarian physiology?

By "hive mind", I assume you mean the geth. The geth aren't AIs.

The "having to be in suits even on their own ships" doesn't really make a great deal of sense, not does the description of how they get ill so easily (although that came from Tali who admitted she doesn't really understand it properly).

Don't see what's wrong with the geth.

Immunlogy doesn't work that way. First, we're told they have no functional immune systems, and their suits are a method of quarantine. Next, we're told that they do have functional immunes systems, because they apparently are actually hyper-alergic to everything. With her as an LI, we're told that Tali is taking antibiotics to boost her immune system (antibiotics do not do that).

By "hive mind", I assume you mean the geth. The geth aren't AIs.

By any sensible IRL standard, Geth are AI (so is Avina). In fact, comically, creating something like Avina would be considered the greatest breakthrough in AI research of all time. While Bioware may have wanted to write her as an input/output machine, the kind of reasoning she engages in is pure AI.

Edit:

As for what's wrong with the geth, despite the Stark Trek idea of Spock, emotions are actually fundamental to a great deal of reasonign that we engage in. Things like "getting the Geth to not stand around and decay" would require effectively replicating core emotions like fear.

That's not true. You don't need to fear death to realise it's illogical to let yourself break down if you wish to continue.
