Wish i would think just about the same as you do , but i can't . Because i am constantly reminded by Bioware about the fact that Mass Effect is Over , is done , caput , there was tons of dlc for ME2 , only very little content was made for ME3.

Tons? Very little? Only if all those junky ME2 weapon and appearance packs count. Actual story stuff? I count 4 for ME2 and 4 for ME3. 5 if you want to count Firewalker.

Let me think:

ME2:
Normandy crash site - for free - meh
Overlord - jewel
Arrival - great - but cutting the core narrative
Liar of the Shadowbroker - jewel - core narrative
Kasumi Goto - great
Zaed - for free - great
Firewalker - meh

ME3:

EC - for free after backlash with size of Texas - meh
Leviathan - meh - core narrative
From Ashes - D1DLC - great - core narrative
Omega - overpriced - meh
Citadel - paid fix with salvaged plot from ME2 - core narrative

Was worth it, imo. Pricey, yes, but worth every penny.

OP literally spent time writing all that huge WOT complaining about the price instead of just deciding it was too expensive for his tastes, deciding not to purchase it, and moving on like a normal person.

Ah Zuzu Mumu, I see your posts here and there, and it's always the same crap with a different hat on.

Why are you even here when all you do is complain and whine about this series? Like seriously, if you're not getting any enjoyment out of it then just find something else.

I didn't count either the Normandy Crash Site nor Zaeed since we all got them for free unless we bought the games used. I wouldn't count Firewalker if it hadn't come later. But if Firewalker counts the EC counts too.

And calling Arrival cut core narrative is just silly --it's not nothing to do with ME2's plot, hadn't been written when ME2 shipped, and doesn't actually change anything. I'm not sure I'd call LotSB core narrative either, but since I don't much care about whether DLCs are core narrative or not I don't see any point in arguing about that.

This was the first "expensive" dlc I've purchased in which I felt as though it was completely worth it. I do think dlcs in general cost too much, but the Citadel dlc was priced very well relatively speaking.

The Citadel dlc is worth early dollar. As far as the the $15 price. $10-$15 is the average price for all dlc for video games, unless there on sale. If your still not sure then go on Youtube and watch the first ten to fifteenth minutes and decide for yourself.
In my opinion if your not buying this dlc because your still angry about the ending then. I would advise you to put that anger aside for just a few seconds and buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Wat ? You don´t count a Crash site and Zaeed coz they were at day of release and they were for free, but you do count a EC which was for free after that backlash, then you also didn´t count also From Ashes... O.o

And Arrival was direct bridge betwen the ME2 and ME3, the one thing which make this even more hilarious is that if you choose or refuse to do Arrival in both ways someone was pissed at you.

Well, LotSB was more like again bridge betwen the ME1 and ME2, I am conflicted if it´s core or not - while it has to do with ME2 only just an explanation of Shepard´s ressurection it also obtain none significant information - yeah Let´s just say that this was not core narrative .

But ME3 is goldmine for core narrative DLCs, Citadel is cut out from ME2 - Project Lazarus and Shepard´s ressurection, Leviathan is about creation of Reapers and From Ashes is about Protheans . those guys which we were studying since the ME1...

You must clearly be dumb , if what you got from my post was that i am somehow in any way complaining about the price , then you are really dumb , is all i'm saying. If you're going to troll someone , at least do it right.

And I quote:

EA must be nuts.

There. That statement there, clearly shows you have issue with the price.  You think it's absurd, or inappropriate, or whatever.  So you are indeed "somehow" complaining about it.  There is your somehow.

And you're also inconsistent.  You claim to own "everything on the market related to mass effect, including dlc, books etc:

Zuzu Mumu wrote...

By the way , i own everything on the market related Mass Effect universe
, from all the games and all their dlc on all possible platforms
including Android , also books , audio books , magazines , soundtracks ,
figurines , posters , clothing , most of them limited edition.

Then you go on to say you never ended up purchasing Omega at all:

Zuzu Mumu wrote...

I am not sure i want to do that any more , some people gave big time
spoilers in the "No Spoilers" section , about the game play , story and
the ending of Omega which put me right off buying it. I never bought it
because i knew everything that was ever going on in Omega dlc from one
single sentence those no brainer posted on forum that ruined my whole
day. Was so excited about it but ended up not buying that dlc.

You're a joke man.  Spend your time more wisely.

You remind me of comic book guy from the Simpsons.  Collecting everything but also whining about everything.  The difference is he's funny, and you're tiresome. Wouldn't be surprised if you looked like him too.

Epic

and just cuz OP bought it for $15, doesn't mean we all did, I paid $70 thank you very much and it was worth every penny. I dont judge the price of a product just on how much i liked but how much i keep using it and i still play ME3 to this day and love the game, single and multiplayer, so LOL, LOL, LOL, quit whinin. It's totally optional.

Worth every penny to me. That is my headcanon ending now.

For the record, I actually like DLC missions and this DLC pack was about 3 hours long all in all. That's about $5 an hour of gameplay, which isn't bad at all.

Not to mention all the extras, party banter, having Wrex back on the team, etc.

FYI - $15 for me is less than half an hour of
pay. So I can afford it (and I'm not complaining about the price at
all), but I'm not a blind money-throwing stooge after being burned. It's
something called 'being an informed consumer'. I don't buy products
just based on if I like the product, but also if I like the business
practices of the company, and that also takes into account any customer
interactions in social media.

You expect the average person (or, God forbid, the average American) to do research before buying a product? Yea right... Sometimes, though, it just doesn't work out. I bought BF3 because BF2 was phenomenal and even after an a**load of research I bought it. Huge disappointment and another example of EA alienating their customers.

And about Priestly's comment, this is where you're supposed to bite your tongue and not make fun of the people that help pay your salary. I rank that up there with recent gaming 'fails' I've come across such as "Aliens: Colonial Marines" and EA's all-Indian, copy-and-paste tech "support."

EDIT: This forum's features are just... wtf. I can't even change the text color from a quote?

Best DLC I've ever seen. Worth every cent. I loved it. It was great.
The "story" was alright but everything was what I hoped for.
I didn't mind at all paying $15 dollars for this dlc.

As I said in another thread, when all was said and done I'd spent 14 hours on the Citadel.

Not only is this a great DLC on it's own, but it improves the overall experience of ME3 for a playthrough. The extra time spent with squadmates from all 3 games is the best thing a DLC has done for a Mass Effect game.

Now I truly feel Mass Effect 3 does what it was supposed to do. It truly feels like a great sendoff now.

PS. The ME3 Citadel is now easily the best hub in a BioWare game.

$15 is the cost of a six-pack of a good microbrew beer. In that light, it seems silly to complain about $10 or $15 DLCs, as long as they are well made.

Citadel is definitely worth the $15 spent. It has a lot more content than Omega ever did for the same price.

Edit: Not that I'm saying that Omega was a bad DLC. It's just overpriced.

Sweet mother of God, I'm not even finished the DLC (about to prep for the party) and I've fallen in love all over again. I kinda rushed to do it, right before Rannoch with my FemShep. Jack, Miranda, Jacob and Tali are dead from Mass Effect 2, I also didn't get to the part were I meet Zaeed during his bounty mission (I think he's dead come to think of it) so he couldn't get invited.

Absolutely brilliant, some hilarious dialogue AND WREX .... :') can't waiti to finish the rest of it and do it all again with my other Sheps.

Without getting into spoilers, there is a Sheldon/Will Wheaton moment with Traynor and it is gold. Infact, she's hysterical throughout it. Even better romanced. :P
