I've just destroyed that gun so the Hammer can land, and I'm on my way to Anderson where I run to all my companions--either in person or by other communication--and I just made it past Wrex, running up the rubble to where Anderson is, when the game just freezes and I have to reset the PS3.
I would have loved to save the game as I usually do, but the saving was disabled. So yay for not being able to do that.
Anyway, my question is: does not talking to them at all alter whichever ending I get? I expect not, but I don't want to re-run through that part and not talk to anyone if talking to them at all matters in the coming decision-making.
Thanks.
Does talking to the your companions in London do anything?

At most it changes who is considered Shepard's best friends.

No, it's just a final dialogue with each. You could YouTube it and run straight to Anderson and probably be fine.

No. Its just a goodbye.

No, it doesn't, the ending does show 2 of Shepard's "best friends" that based on who you bring with the most, has nothing to do with the last conversation you have with your squadmates.

Okay. Thanks, everyone.
In this playthrough (through ME2, also), I've always taken Tali--who I've romanced--and Garrus, so those should count. Just to be safe, I'll probably just talk to Garrus. And Tali, too, if I find her. It might've froze up before then.
Thanks again!
