Okay, we have the triology edition. Which other then switching to another platform (or trying mass effect if you've never played it before), has no reason to be bought by people that already own the games and the dlc.
BUT: Any chance of mybe doing something cool and putting out a special special edition? One that actually has all the dlc, and the game?
The Collector's Triology Edition!
ALL the dlc from all the games, plus the games (of course), maybe even all the soundtracks?
You have all dis dlc, start bundlin' it

I still hope for a future time when ME1 can be updated to something like the ME 2 or ME 3 graphics engine. Always feels buggy and clunky when I reinstall to play through it. A pipe dream, I know...
Unless that's what the trilogy thing is and can be purchased for PC? I've been missing out, if so.

I'd buy an "all-exclusive" - special edition in an heartbeat.
I on the other hand hope that ME1 will not be updated (or that using the update will be optional). The clunkiness in it is part of the charm for me personally.

The only way I can see this happening is if its a digital version so can't be resold for companies consider the DLC profits too high to have going into a discount bin or being resold and all the money going to another company. Then if that happened you will have people upset (and in my opinion rightfully) that people without a high speed internet connection will suffer.

Director's Cut (it worked for Blade Runner).

If it has a new ending with a bit sense, count me in.

Problem is that, at least on console, that puts out all the DLC on the used games market, which I'm betting they want to avoid and are willing to take a probably-small hit on game sales to do to guarantee they're getting full price for subsequent DLC sales.

I might have partially agreed, were it not for the alarming frequency with which it crashes to desktop and loses all non-saved progress...
The primary reason why I can never agree with those who declare the original as somehow the best of all.

Maybe they could do something with ME1 similar as to what 343I did with Halo CE:A.
Give the player to instantly toggle between the updated graphics and the original. I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult, considering mods already exist for HD textures.

It does use the same graphics engine.Xenomorphine wrote...

All three main Mass Effect games, on all platforms, use the Unreal Engine 3. Bioware simply got better at working with it in the following games, though oddly worse at animation.
