On the dragon age: origins site under add-ons if you click 'bioware points' it will give you a sort of faq page about the points. It mentions that you can purchase those points even if you do not have a credit card. However when I try to purchase those points with paypal, it eventually always leads me to a part where I have to link a credit card to my paypal account. Now I thought credit card wasn't needed. Isn't that sort of the whole point of paypal - it being an online bank? Why the credit card nonsense? This is a bit annoying as I don't have a credit card yet. Am I doing something wrong during the purchasing process? Or is it simply suppose to be like that?
Possible purchasing pts via paypal WITHOUT CREDIT CARD?

Do you have a bank account registered with your PayPal account? If not, perhaps that's why it's asking you for credit card information.

Use debit card instead. Much better than credit cards.
