Why aren't all these distribution services building P2P-support into their systems? That could even ensure that everyone's game files stay the same, ergo helping to detect hacking.

Explain to us if you be so kind to what is involved in a bit more detail with hope bioware might take note and learn some pointer from you:O

Bioware-Montreal is the developer.

EA is the Publisher.

Which do you believe is in charge of publishing to the public?

Origin just tweeted blaming overwhelming demand, working as fast as they can blah blah.

Not like they needed a crystal ball to see this demand coming!?

Breaking News: Origin does not function as well as Steam and has more privacy issues. When asked to comment on the situation an EA Spokesman said "Sucks for you." We now return you to your regular programing.

is it us or are we sometimes guilty of being like spoilt brats? a cynic would say 'we should be grateful even for such protracted delay cos the end result will be superb and bioware did this cos fans wanted more times with old characters from both games prior?' do we sometimes have a right to complain in these situations either?

Yeah I understand running into issues, but I don't get how they didn't see this coming.

Oh well back to hitting F5 every few minutes on the BSN DLC page.

EA - the company that invades privacy, ruins franchises, and can't release a game and one DLC on the same day without their terrible platform going into meltdown.

Sadly, the people who are learning it right now will leave the company tomorrow because of burnout.

Well, look at it this way. This is the LAST time we have to wait for a busted DLC.

Origin is experiencing overwhelming demand which is keeping some users from accessing their games and DLC. We’re working as fast as we can to resolve.

Not only that, but this sort of thing is SO reliable from them it's predictable to a T. Last week, Reckoning DLC - hours late, no explanation offered despite tons of threads and posts asking. I swear last night, I honestly thought about making a forum thread called "Official "Why is Citadel not out on Origin yet" in advance thread." This should be the exception, something happens and delays occur. But this is their standard.

it's not mass effect, it's Simcity that's causing the overwhelming demand.
Sorry to say in the BSN forums, but no one really cares about Mass Effect anymore, it's millions of people flocking to hand over their money for another crappy SimCity version.  SC4 was the last good one.

get the gaffa tape and WD-40 out, if it moves and shouldn't, tape it, if it doesn't move and should, spray it.

Better to headbutt the server.
