Alright, I understand that my suggestions and perspective may not be enough to convince game designers to make some fundamental changes but here I am anyway hoping that something might be considered.

I find the combat to be very slow.  For an RPG, I would think action is important.  Surely the story is amazing and so far all the voices are great.  The game runs smooth for the most part but the action kind of kills it a bit.  I was really looking forward to some bloody fights with a lot of action, but there are not many special abilities for a warrior to use.  I think it’s important to add more depth to the warrior in terms of abilities to use.

Also, I assume this is a bug.  When I decapitate someone their head vanishes instead of seeing it roll to the ground or something a little more natural.

The Korcari Wilds in the game appears as a swamp. It's nothing like how its described in the books.  Everything is out in the open, there's no way a Dalish Elf can hide.  Not even Loghain could spot the elves in the Korcari Wilds in the first book.  See, in the books, especially the first (The Stolen Throne) it describes it as a wild jungle, not a wetland.

Also, the combat music in the Korcari Wilds could be better.  It worked in DA Journeys because we're inside Deep Roads and it goes well for that, but not outside in a wilderness.  I think using different music would work very well.
Jeremy Soule was perfect at that as a musician.

Another thing is that I feel the beginning for a human noble is extremely rushed.  here's hardly any time to enjoy that life and grow with the characters there, so by the next 10 minutes when almost everyone is dead you don't really feel any emotion.  I think it would have been better if there were a few more quests.  Maybe there could be an added scene having dinner with the family before going to bed and you get to speak with Iona a little more.  We couldn't even escape, it just loads and automatically to the next town.  And I feel that took the anguish excitement out of what happened there.

Also, I noticed our father calls us pup, I know it wasn’t meant this way intentionally but it sounds like I’m some kind of pet or unimportant. I think the father would sound better if he just says son.

Lastly, character creation.  What happened to a normal beard?  Why is it you only have beards that make humans look like a dwarf?  Alright, you can keep the exaggerated beards but I'd like a beard similar to Duncan, a
normal beard.

Sorry if I seem like I’m complaining or ungrateful but just trying to point out some suggestions and ideas to make the game better.  If I offended anyone, I’m sorry.
