What are they going to do to our profile pictures? Will we have to CHOOSE OUR ALLEGIANCE by displaying either our DA character OR our custom Shepard?

I had to retreive my EA account. My EA account has been nothing but hassle. I apprently somehow have 2 EA accounts on top of it. So no I'm not very pleased. Plus I had just signed up at the ME forums the other day to ask about the didn't recruit Wrex thing and have to move already.

You should have been able to log in by "transfering' your account from the legacy ME forum.  All you would have had to do was pick  your avatar and you would be set.

ME2 is supposed to be designed to be self-contained... You should be filled in on relevant details and the ending will supposedly be satisfying in it's own right. 

That said, since your decisions made in ME1 will affect ME2 if you import your save, you are going to get a lot more out of ME2 if you have played the first.  Plus, the settings and events will make a lot more sense.

I may have devised a workaround.  A workaround that makes me a target for both Sharks and Jets.

Seriously, to everyone that's making their way over now, I hope you enjoy the social site as much as OP and I do.  Lots of great people to talk to and cool places to hang out in.

I'll miss Tali She was one of my party's mainstays for every playthrough i did. So far, I haven't seen any of the old party return, but at least it seems we get more interaction with the Quarians and Krogan.



Anyway, reporting do duty (though come the 26th you wont be seeing much of me )

But as a useable party member? Last I heard (from an unoffcial source, I suppose) she's reduced to NPC status. If she's recruitable or whatever at some point, she's definately the first one I'm picking up.

I dislike how few threads and posts there are per page. I'm wondering how they'll seperate the various forums as it's already boring to scroll down to the off-topic forum and ME 2 will add another half-dozen.

You'll miss content. For example, there's are a number of NPCs you can kill during the first game, ME 2 will assume you killed them all so you won't see them in ME 2.
