Its a little naieve to think that the majority of people posting on a video game forum in the middle of the day are in relationships, isn't it? 

My girlfriend literally hates the ****ing guy. She only kept him around (until she stopped playing the game) because he was her tank. I once heard her shout "**** YOU, ALISTAIR YOU ****ING PIECE OF RETARDED ****!" from the other room when he got all pissed off about her having to kill Isolde.

I was actually impressed by Alistair when my girlfriend started talking about him.

I mean here's a guy on a computer screen talking into my headphones who she can't even hear and somehow his facial expressions, maneurisms, and my reaction to him have peaked her interest. 
It's really amazing, and a unique experience in my lifetime.  A testament to how well done his character is.

I just noticed those who complain about Alistair...happen to be men who think he is not this "man's man"...I'm glad you are impressed by the fact your girlfriend is talking about Alistair.

How do you know what I or anyone else went through in life?

Nothing I went through made me incapable of making decisions, just the opposite, more rough stuff I go through more I am able to take care of my own self and the ones I love.
Yes, I lost certain "innocence" and patience for fluffy pink bunny types in the process, but you can be damn sure that those I care about can rely on me to make decisions, suffer the consequences and never nag on them if things go wrong. And I am always there with shoulder to cry on, while I rarely need one for myself.
Unlike dear Alistair types.

Easiest thing in the world is to say "I cant make my mind, you pick for me" and then rant and whine and bash that other person if you dont like what was picked. Personally I dislike such people.

ya know.... the worst part about this is that girls actually are trying to argue the point that guys a jealous of a video game character.... if a girls love life is so bad that they have to resort to a fictonal guy on a game? seriously...

That would be accurate....the ration from male/female Ali haters must be 1000-1...and deffo not seen a Ali hater thread started by a woman yet...

Lol...yeah, but eh...I'm not talking bad about the vast minority of men who just seem to not care....who actually like Alistair or the vast minority of women who hate him..I am talking about the these men who think they can justify their reason for hating a pixel man by saying he is not a man's man..they aren't man's man either...and never will be.

Bingo! He doesn't have the balls to make decisions for himself, but when you have to make the tough decisions in his stead, all he can do is complain about your choice. He's the superior officer, and in one of his banters with Morrigan he states "Yes, I prefer to follow". Well I'm glad I can accomodate your preference in the middle of a fricking BATTLEFIELD, THERE BUDDY!

Men are jealous and as for my relationship...I have my "Alistair" and he is a great guy...and I love him dearly.

forget the mens men that not the point...the thing is that the only thing that alistair doing all the time is crying,whining,get pissed me with even when i have to choose something *cough*arl eamon castle *cough* or crying about duncan
