Can someone tell me how I can play the dlcs??I decided i want to buy omega and citadel but from the looks of it I cant start them from my save (Im right in front of Marauder shields). I dont plan on ever replaying mass effect 3 and therefore I wont be buying the dlcs if there is no way around this issue..can someone provide a save editor or something similar ?

You must finish the fight.
After you beat the game, it'll put you back right before the final mission on the Normandy and allow you travel to the dlc locations.

how you can play the dlc's? how long have you been playing the ME series for? if not long, then you should know that certain DLCs have a game-progress block. meaning you can't start the DLC missions until you've reached a certain point in the game.
most of them are accessible after the Menae mission (turian moon), and you receive an in-game email from either Admiral Hackett (From Ashes/Leviathan) or Aria T'Loak (Omega), informing you who you have to meet and where. and when that happens, you officially receive the mission notification in the Journal area, and the galaxy map is marked with the mission.
now, if you have already started the Cerberus Headquarters mission, it won't let you do any more missions, because that's where the end-game starts. you can play the DLCs in the period between AFTER the Turian moon mission and BEFORE you Assault the Cerberus HQ. The Citadel DLC will be playable after the mission "Priority: Citadel".
