[Warden Commander David]

Just started Awakening last night and have a couple of questions.

Mhairi...why? Why was the first female sword and shield companion killed by the blood...but Oghren lives? Thought she was going to be badass.

Is Anders more than just a mage version of Alistair?

Speaking of Alistair...did I select the wrong dialog choices...or did they simply leave out any dialog between him and an imported Warden? Their dialog was almost as if they were never friends and never went through all of the events of DA:O together.

Anyways...is there anyway to start the campaign without the ridiculous helmet and weapons? I imported my DA:O character...but he only had my armor from DA:O equipped...I had to equip my weapons when I was first able to. So I had to "suffer" through that first cutscene with my character looking completely absurd. (not "really" a big deal...but would be nice if there was a way around it)

Can I reload my "celebration" save from DA:O...equip new armor that I want to use for Awakening...save it...then use that save for my Awakening import...so that I start with that armor? Or is it just more "safe" to simply import your character without selecting a specific save file?

Life is hard and then you die.The red armor should have been a clue

Yes, in DA2.

You will never get much out of him.

  Some of the DLC weapons and armor do not import at all. If you wear those they will get replaced by the generic ones.

Yes, unless it is one those that do not import.

I've also never understood the comparison between Anders and Alistair. Apart from being blond and snarky (though I think Anders is better at it) they're really nothing alike.
