Yes. But I don't think it would have been shortly after they littered the world, rather, when we were forced to clean up the school, whereupon, I count tens, if not hundreds, of pieces of rubbish lying around. In school, it would usually be chip packets.

Oh yes. I've done it in many ways. I've done it before I had time to think about it (often violence, I'm sorry). I've done it very deliberatly and planned (dangerous sports, stunts), because, somehow, it helped against depression. I've done it, falling for a temptation despite knowing better (social context) and made a complete fool of myself, and suffered for it.

Have you ever dismissed hitting on someone, very attractive, you figured was entirely above your league, only to much later learn that you actually had very good odds?

edit...in fact adopted a dog that was taken from Thailand but did not fit in with the dogs that were already present at the time. She turned out to be the perfect pet
