Have I been south of the equator? No. I LIVE south of the equator, and I've never even reach the equator, let alone crossed it.

It depends on what you call famous I guess: I mean like not the Queen, but maybe an earl or 2.

Yes, several times.  It's a singularly unpleasant experience, especially when driving over a mountain and you end up firmly lodged in a 20 foot snow drift.

- Pfft!  Two miles is not far. . The reason was more 'drunk' itself, than 'too drunk to drive' though.
