Yes, I gave up on someone to let a friend have a chance. And it worked. They fell in love and got married. It hurt at the time, but I knew it would work out. And I found someone now that makes ME happy. So putting someone else's happiness ahead of my own did more for me then I ever thought it could.

Have you ever went through a elaborate plan to get a guy and girl together?

Yes; someone I care for deeply. She and I were the victims of gossip, and she had been misinformed of me and my intentions; the age difference being key. When I tried to explain, I had a breakdown/ full blown anxiety attack, and she went for help. Later I called her to inform her that she need not fear me, and I would not talk with her again. That was about 20 yrs ago.

Hate gossips.

No. But a very attractive co-ed from Greece broke her elbow and we met in re-hab. I loathe to see a woman cry, am a sucker for a lovely face, and so I went around campus accumulating all she needed to return home for surgery, and I was on crutches at the time. Best Workout ever!

No, but I did see two celebrities in person while I had a job as a movie theater employee.

Yes. While I was working the graveyard shift, one of the guests needed some assistance with some minor things. He had given me his card, but I had simply set it aside for my manager. Later when he required something else, I chose to enter some of his requests into the system so he would not have to request these things again. The name on the card was Gale Sayers; the HoF running back and author of the book "Brian's Song". We chatted a bit for several minutes before he left. And he was as humble and non-pretentious as played by Billy Dee Williams in the film of the same name.

No. If I have learned anything during my 30 yrs in the hospitality industry, it became rather clear that celebs value their privacy. I try to do my best to give it to them.
