Ever embarrassed yourself while giving a speech?

Only once. But it was one magnificent failure of epic proportions. It hadn't happened before, and it hasn't happened since. So it's a bit strange.

I was ridiculously scantily prepared of course. But even so, there must have been something wrong with my brain that day. I did have a fever, from a persistent infection that had plagued me for months. Anyway, I had no sense of time, direction or relevance. I wasted about an hour of everybody's time, and made a complete idiot of myself. I permanently burned a lot of bridges and relationships that day. It was awful. Particularly afterwards when I recollected and went through the things that had taken place and the things I had said and done. It was like waking up from a bad dream and finding out it wasn't. To me, it seemed like 5-10 minutes, but it was an hour. Another indication that my head wasn't working properly. I didn't and don't take any drugs. I don't rule out that somebody had drugged me, I certainly felt drugged, but the fever is a more probable factor. Anyway, I just had to slink away silently with the tail between my legs. A horrible humiliation.

Yes. Hiked up some of the Mountains in Arizona when I was younger; before my irrational fear of heights.

Ever swim in the ocean?

Not ocean. But lake, yes. I did not get anywhere with my swimming.though. lol

 

Ever Drove your bicycle to some obstacle?

Used to jump my bike over obstacles, or under them, but generally tried to avoid them as a rule. However, someone forgot to mention this to the driver of the car when he opened his door....



Ever had a concussion? Got mine while roller-skating, or NOT roller-skating, as it happens.

Yeah. I give advice to my younger brother all the time. I stopped about three years ago when I realized he was dead set on being a weirdo for the rest of his life.

No, but watched as my Dad ate a Louisiana hot pepper while thinking they could not be any hotter than a jalapeno. Believe this is what they use to make tabasco sauce. He was mistaken in his thesis....
