Yes; learned from it, and when it happened again, used that energy to make jokes from it.

No; really did not like driving much, and my reflexes were always poor.

No; as the eldest, we only had a single couch at the time. But I did leap about on the large footstools at Grandma's; y;know, to escape from the alligators....

Yes, Heat (1995), I think I've seen it 18 times already. *edit* Also Alien 2, more than 10 times for sure.

No. I doubt that money charities collect goes directly to the needy, when I give money to the poor I do it personally and give it to beggars on the street.
