Always when I put something special in a "that will be a safe place". That will be lost until I accidentally discover it during cleaning or moving, years later.

Yes. I spent the entire day looking for a small, round, plain piece of leather that had detached itself from my book-bag while away at college. Originally it had been etched by my daughter with the title, 'Dad', and was the only Father's Day gift I have ever received from her. I still regret losing it.

Certainly. However, not lately due to having learned to look more carefully.

 

Have you ever waited for a drive, had a car pull up by the side, torn open the door and thrown yourself into the passenger seat, turned your head and looked at a shocked, wide-eyed, perfect stranger?

No, but have been in the car at the light with someone else driving, and they started to slowly go in reverse, and watched as the other driver would stomp their brakes in a panic believing they were moving forward through the light. Not recommended, but humorous.

Ever have a witty reply for a drive-up food question? My faves include when asked if they want something with their order of a sandwich, fries, and a drink, my friend replied, "Burger in a box, fries in a bag, and the drink in a cup".
