Yes; fell off the top of our armored vehicle one night during bivouac. I was too tired to get injured or care.

Almost; felt so comfortable with the lass next to me that I almost placed my arm around her, and she was dating a good friend who was on the other side of her. It was then I discovered that she resembled my ex quite a lot, and everyone wondered why I started to lol.



Ever started to snore in a public area?

I got busted sleeping in history class back in high school. Apparently snoring was involved.

Yes; injured my leg while trying to impress the ladies. Showing off never pays off....

Yeah. Won silver medal in regional football/soccer match in my city some years ago.

nope, never made it past the youth national level(football/soccer), mostly because of my brutal "go for the kill instead of the ball" defence, finally got tossed off the team when i kicked a goalkeeper in the face

I took second place in an international Taekwondo tournament when I was a little fella (11 or 12). Ninja'd again!

 

Yes, sadly. I got creamed in the face one time during a Taekwondo match and lost my cool. Broke the other kid's nose and got disqualified. Not my best moment.

 

Have you ever been close enough to touch a dangerous animal? (Lions, Tigers, Bears... Oh My!)

Yes, have been too close to venomous snakes, and feet away from In-Laws....

Yes. I tend to find those kind of romantic gestures off-putting. I don't know if it's a guy thing or just a me thing.

Yes; a couple of sketches were pleasing.

How do one 'admire' a fictional hero? Have I felt very strongly for a fictional hero? Yes, I think so.

Let's see?.....      Does Donald Duck count? Or Wiley Coyote? Always loved them, but maybe they're not 'heros'.

There's Severian in 'The Book of the New Sun' (tetralogy), certainly, for one.

Fry, in 'Pitch Black', I think. Both she and Severian probably have things in common with characters I create for RPGs.

Are they heros? I think Fry clearly is, albeit frail, cowardly and tragic.

There's actually hundreds more...

...Think I need to mention Bosch too. Michael Connolly's relentless detective character in many novels.

 

 

Edit: Ninja'd.   Yes. I've read a number of books from cover to cover in one day. It's a glorious feeling when you find one that is so abyssmally "bad"      , that you just can't put it down.

No, but understand that when Spielberg was making War of the Worlds, when the actors went into the water while filming the ferry scenes, he pumped the theme from Jaws into the speakers below the waters.

Ever stop watching a series; became tired of it?

Usually, I take that decision very early. But yes, Prison Break. I eventually understood that they had no story to tell, but just invited new writers to write and write continuations of drivel, as long as they could sell commercial spots. I hate the 'Lost' paradigm. Truly do.

Yes, if I can remember them after waking. Occasionally, flying or spell-casting as answers have to reconsidered....
