A couple of times. I like to wander.

Probably the best one was in Dublin. I was on holiday with some other people and we started to wander through the city and ended up at a small festival at a local college with music, performance, booths and everything (including zombies)

No. Now that I'm in college and we finally have escalators, I've given it some thought, but the thought of faceplanting and ending up being known everywhere around school doesn't particularly appeal to me.

I was with a friend one time when he, rather excitedly, did ask for a refund. It doesn't work that way, though.

I don't remember the movie. But I do remember some awfully bad movies <groan>.

And now I do remember the movie. And it wasn't bad at all. Quite decent. "From Here to Eternity".

A classic actually. I think my not so bright friend reacted on A: the movie being in B&W. B: the movie not being the bloody and action filled war movie he had expected. C: the movie being very long, while not the least interesting for him.

 

 

Have you ever recommended a movie to a friend, who's taste you have a pretty good take on, only for him to bring a silly girlfriend, who manage to continually throughout the movie convince him of that it's absolute crap.

No; have consumed many of them, and cannot imagine eating only one.

Ever find a film more memorable due to the company kept while seeing it?

No, I don't think so. Nothing springs to mind from that direction. On the contrary, I have enjoyed movies the most when I've been alone and can let myself be entirely swept away. Also, one can weep unrestrained, instead of focusing on surroundings and holding back.
