I had a friend try to argue with me over a remarkably insignificant thing, and lost them as a friend when I refused to participate and suggested it was a silly thing to argue about.  (The most recent console wars.  I mean, really...)

No, I came close to getting hit in the side by a pool cue when I wasn't paying attention to the people that were playing. But I never got hit in the face lol.
